I thoroughly enjoyed this techno-gothic supernatural horror series, it's a great mix of Twilight Zone (or Black Mirror, if it existed in the 1990s) and Rosemary's Baby, and I think there was some Donnie Darko and David Lynch and "Don't Look Now" in it too!
Lots of spooky sets with endless corridors (I guess that covers "The Shining") and there's one completely different episode that looks more like American Horror Story.

How could this possibly work? Well, like that other great horror series Midnight Mass, its narrative is honest and intriguing without being pretentious. So, when things go batshit crazy you're gonna be like "yeah. yeah yeah, I'm on board with this".

Apparently netflix has already cancelled this show although I'm not sure what part of it. I thought it was exactly enough and it goes out on a high note.
Perhaps it was supposed to become an anthology series? I would have liked that but I don't need more of this story. They'd probably have to come up with all sorts of outrageous twists and retcons to keep the story fresh and exciting and then it becomes one of those stories on life support.
