I'm pretty sure it was @James from London who made the observation in one of his wonderful rewatching post that the penultimate episode of Knots Landing season 4 had very well bookended opening and closing scenes. The opening scene is Ciji(Lisa Hartman) riding her bicycle down a sunny California street as the opening credits ran. The closing scene is her lifeless body washed ashore on a dark beach. I recall his point about it making me appreciate the episode and season 4 even more than I already did.
