I thought it would be a good idea to have somewhere we can check in on who is who because after launch night, it usually takes me a while to figure everyone out.

Lotan Carter

Give me the basics: This member of the Dreamboy dance squad is entering the Big Brother house in hopes of challenging "the stereotype of strippers".

Why is he going into the house? "I want to lay it all bare and put myself through the test in this unique and intense experience."

What should I know? Lotan is the nephew of former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Louie Spence, and even appeared on Pineapple Dance Studios.

Give me the basics: This former Ex on the Beach star-turned-clothing concession manager wants to prove she's "successful and isn't a bimbo".

Why is she going into the house? "You will be put in an environment where you will either sink or swim with lots of different personalities."

What should I know? Having also appeared on Ex on the Beach, Kayleigh says Big Brother will be a fun addition to her CV.

Give me the basics: Married to fellow contestant Sukhvinder, Imran wants to change the public's perception of Muslim families.

Why is he going into the house? "I want to show my children how to be a good person. I want to be an example to the next generation as well and let them know it's not all about social media."

What should I know? Imran describes himself as "self-made from the ghetto".

Give me the basics: Sukhvinder says she and husband Imran "represent the black sheep" of their community because she is Sikh and Imran is Muslim.

What should I know?Sukhvinder admits she's short on patience and is often quite blunt.

What should I know? Single mum Deborah credits her Nigerian background with giving her strong values. She's also never afraid to speak her mind!

Give me the basics: This reigning Miss Nigeria UK is a London make-up store hostess, and sister to fellow housemate Deborah.

Why is she going into the house? "I want to do Big Brother because I want to do something I have never done before, it's a unique experience. I want to be challenged as a person. I want to do something outside of the box."

What should I know? She wants to use the Big Brother platform to discourage young people from joining criminal gangs.
