Can't check alerts now...

I can't check my alerts now because the Christmas decoration is covering up the entire top of the page-- why is that?

I had this issue with the velour setting and went back to the default setting where I could read the alerts.

I noticed the different setting on my end as well-- was it automatically changed for me in response to what I said earlier?

why is that?

The person who created the design clearly wasn't thinking about the Velour style.
