So I take it you've finished the whole story now?

I am glad that you think I wrote Judith in a believable way as she was not that easy to write for. I never liked the character either. She was really flamboyant and over the top. So it is hard to feel for her, as she was written a bit like a cartoon villian with really no redeeming qualities.

Thanks for saying that my story proves that there was life left on the show. I wish it hadn't been cancelled too soon.

Oh yeah Cliff and Afton were great for each other. Me too could totally picture them with a son. So a missed opportunity not to give them another child just as I also think JR & Sue Ellen should have had a second child, a daughter as well.

Finally I just want to wish all my readers a Happy New Year. Let's hope 2021 will be a better year for all of us!

I did and I felt many things.

You touched on things that I always wondered about. Like how Donna and Ray dealt with their divorce, being with other people and if their daughter was a significant part of Ray's life. I think the way you wrote it is how I would have envisioned it. And yet my memory is cloudy as to why Donna and Ray broke up in the first place? I feel like it shouldn't have happened.

Jenna. Jenna came across as someone who just married Ray because she couldn't have Bobby. And I never understood why something could not have been worked out so that Bobby could be in his son's life, even though Jenna was married to Ray? I could envision Jenna being happy with Ray but still feeling raw over Pam and Bobby's lack of interest in Lucas growing up.

Ann is not a bad person and I'm glad she wasn't just left out in the cold when Bobby and Pam reunited. Harris loves her and will take care of her, post Bobby.

Reading this story just reinforced my belief that TNT should burn in hell for canceling this show. There was a lot of life in it, post Larry Hagman.

I finally finished reading your awesome story. I wish you were the writer for the Dallas TNT series. You wrote a beautiful story, and write all the characters so well.
I love that Pam came back in your story. I love that she left because of Katherine not because she didn’t want to stay with Bobby and Christopher. It is funny it was John Ross that found her with JR’s help.
It was cool that Katherine and JR’s child Josephine was raised by Pam after the boating accident where Pam lost her memory. Josephine is a lot like her Mom and Dad ( Katherine and J.R.) but has some of Pam’s qualities too.
I have to say the Sue Ellen storyline was good. I feel bad she is alone but knowing she truly loved JR was shown in the story. Her at the cemetery was sad. I wish they got their happy ending but Larry’s death made it impossible but how you wrote their last days together was cute. I just hate he went along with his plan to destroy Cliff and leaving the family was sad but again Larry’s death left them scrambling for a end to JR’s storyline.
I like that Pamela and John Ross are happy in your story. It is cute they have a son Jock (Jacob). I’m so glad he is healthy.
Elena and Christopher are happy with Drew. I wanted Christopher to be the Father but how you wrote it everything seemed ok.
I love Lucy in your story. She still with Mitch and has two children. I’m glad her cancer scare was false. I remember her being so scared on the original series thinking she would get it because her Grandma had it. I like that Lucy is happy.

I wanted Pam and Bobby together so bad on the original series. I always thought she would return. We never got to see that but in your storyline it was a perfect way to have her return.
I’m so happy Bobby and Pam got together in the end. I hated when Bobby slept with Pam then the next morning she assumed he was going to divorce Ann but he said he didn’t say he would. I felt bad for Pam because she would think Bobby coming to her meant he was going to be with her. I guess they should have discussed that before getting carried away and making love.
I liked Ann on the Dallas TNT but I didn’t find they had the best chemistry. They seemed to always keep stuff away from each other like in your story. I did feel there was a bond with Harris and Ann.
She was helping her daughter Emma after finding out she was raped. Emma went on a trip with Judith of course Ann and than Harris followed when they found out about Emma Friend. They are over there while Bobby is back in Dallas with Pam. Emma meets Lucas and falls in love , and they make plans to marry.
Lucas brings her to his Mom and Dad’s to meet. It was cute all the family were there. It was cute even Margaret was there too. She is like her Mom and StepDad.
Ann comes home and finds out Emma and Lucas are getting married right away. Bobby comes home and decides to go to the Wedding with Ann. Bobby was confusing me it was like he didn’t know what he wanted.
The wedding was cute , and I love that Sue Ellen, Gary, Lucy and others were there.
Jenna was upset about Bobby being there. She tells Bobby she was disappointed that he gave up his right to Lucas. I get why she is upset but Ray is actually Lucas Father he raised him as his son. It was just surprising she was still so upset .
I liked the Gary and Sue Ellen talk she finally admitted she was a alcoholic. Valene was funny when she said JR always said she was his favourite Sister in Law. Sue Ellen said she probably was it never would be Pam. I think Jenna would have been his favourite.
It was funny Ann learned for the first time that Lucas was his biological Son.
Bobby confronts Harris about him being the one that ran into Pam causing the accident. I was so surprised that he admitted he was the one that did it because he helped BD Calhoun. Couldn’t or shouldn’t he be charged still with attempted murder. It was Bobby he tried to kill.

Later Ann finds out about Bobby and Pam making love she later does the same with Harris. She tells Bobby she wants a divorce. She goes to be with Harris and Pam left town and Bobby goes to get her, they come back to Southfork and marry.
I love the ending with the Grandkids it was cute. I especially loved Drew and Jock fighting it was like John Ross and Christopher.
You are a beautiful writer, I hope you keep writing more stories, and update your other story.
I will forget what the TNT writers gave us, and consider this the ending they all got.

Im sorry I forgot to mention Cliff and Afton. I’m glad Pam got him out of prison. I was glad at the end Afton and Pam were with him when he passed away. It was sad hearing Afton and Cliff lost a son to the disease. They split up after the death that happens to a lot of couples.

I also liked the end where Sue Ellen and Afton hugged and said they would have a truce over things in their past. It was sad I kept imagining Cliff and J.R. in the waiting room waiting to see their Grandson. If only we could have seen that.

I was never a Afton fan but in your story I actually liked her.

I knew Katherine didn’t die Pam threw her a life preserver. I like that she has a daughter and is married to someone else.
Katherine was another character that I was not a fan of but you wrote her well in this story.

@Karin Schill sorry I was late getting here but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this story. You tied up a lot of loose ends for me, and it was nice seeing Pam and Bobby finally getting that happy ending that always seemed to elude them somehow. I’m a sucker for happy endings, even though I can also appreciate it when a couple doesn’t get that, as it’s not always possible unfortunately.

I honestly wasn’t into reading these stories when I first joined but that has changed over recent months as I find myself reading them more often. And I just wanted you to know that this one is my favorite so far.

I'm going to start checking out this fanfiction of yours Karin. I actually didn't mind the TNT series for the most part. I don't deny that Cidre could have done better with her fact checking.

@80's Cha Cha Cha I agree with you that TNT cancelled the show way too early. There was a lot of life left in the show and Lucas and Jenna was supposed to have shown up in season four, as well as John Ross sister. It would have been interesting to see what they came up with. Although I suspect that if the show hadn't been cancelled we wouldn't have seen anything like what I wrote in this story, as Cidre was not a fan of the original Dallas and it came across in the writing.

@Jessie I take it as a huge compliment that you wish I would have been one of the writers for Dallas TNT. It wasn't easy to write for the new characters that CC created, but I gave it my best shot and I think I managed to find their voices after a while. I am glad that you will consider this the new end to Dallas TNT. That was the reason I wrote this story, because I wanted to give everyone the closure that TNT never gave us. So I am glad you found the story beautiful.

@DallasFanForever thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed this story and that it's your favorite of the fanfics on this site so far.
I used to enjoy reading a lot of fanfics that were here before the big forum crash in 2016. It's a shame those stories disappeared. Maybe you will also enjoy reading my Dallas in the 90s story, although that doesn't have an ending like this story does.

Oh and my old account was deleted by mistake by one of the admins. So that is why it's listed as "guest" these days. I had to start a new account. I had hoped to merge it with my old account. But it is not possible. But I am still here.
