Aww Ray is so sweet to Jenna

weird cookie that is the nicest thing to say about Judith

Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings.
@superman fan I am glad that you like Ray and Jenna.
He does treat her really good. Except for when he cheated on her with Connie. But that is water under the bridge.
Okay so tonight it's time for an update that I think some of you have been waiting for. I just hope it will live up to your expectations.
*
Pam was standing on her terrace watching the sun set in the ocean. A light evening breeze was blowing in from the sea, making her hair blow gently in the wind. She had been home almost a week now and her life had gone back to normal. Only problem was that she missed her daughter terribly as the house seemed too big for her when she was there alone. Being here made her miss her husband too. Leone and she had had a good marriage and had spent many happy years here. Yet it was not for him that she sometimes cried at night. No the one her heart could not forget about was Bobby. She had thought that going to the other side of the world would make it easier. After all Bobby had never been to her home, so she had no memories of him from here. But it had just made it worse. Because unlike before she now remembered everything about her life together with Bobby in Dallas and she missed her family so badly. Christopher had called her once. He had calmed down some but she could tell that he was still upset that she’d left him again. But at least she hadn’t lost her son. She felt confident that he would come visit her some day.
But she had lost Bobby. The thought of never seeing him again made her heart hurt and she kept thinking about Bobby and all the things they’d done over and over again. She kept missing the little things that they’d done before but never got to do again. Like riding out on the ranch together, getting all dressed up and going to the oil baron’s ball, laughing and dancing the Texas two-step at the annual barbeque, having dinner at Le Provencal, relaxing by the pool, or just standing by their window at Southfork with his arms wrapped around her back as they watched the starry sky at night.
Standing there looking at the sunset all by herself she was so lost in her memories of Bobby that she could almost sense his presence there. The air even smelled like his cologne. Pam closed her eyes for a moment, turning her face to the sun and that’s when she heard the sound of footsteps coming from behind her.
“Hello Pam!” His voice startled her and for a moment she thought that she was dreaming. But when she opened her eyes and turned around she found out that he was really there, standing before her on the terrace.
“Bobby!” She exclaimed, as she was happily surprised to see him. “What are you doing here?” Then her smile faded away as a horrible thought occured to her and the panic could be seen in her brown eyes. “Don’t tell me it’s my children!”
“No Christopher and Josephine are fine,” Bobby hurried to reassure her, as he closed the gap between them and walked up to her.
“The baby?” Pam asked with a desperate look in her eyes.
“Drew’s fine too,” Bobby told her.
“Then what is it?”
“Why do you always assume it’s bad news?” Bobby said, as he gently reached out his hand and pulled back a lock of her hair from her face.
“Because people don’t travel half across the world unless it’s serious,” she reasoned as she looked into his hazel eyes, trying to find an answer in them.
“Well it is,” Bobby said. “But it’s not bad news. At least I don’t think it is.”
“Stop beating around the bush and tell me already what’s going on,” she demanded, since she had no patience to play games.
“Alright.” Bobby sighed heavily before he gathered up the courage to tell her what he’d flown across the world to tell her. “I came here to apologize to you and to tell you that Ann and I are getting a divorce.”
Pam looked surprised at Bobby as that was the last thing she had expected, “You are?”
She wondered if she’d even heard him right.
“We are,” Bobby confirmed and at that moment Pam could feel her heart skip a beat, since surely this must mean that Bobby would want her back. Otherwise he would never have travelled this far to tell her that. Or would he? Pam pondered as up until today she had been sure that he had chosen Ann instead of her. Now she felt hopeful again but she still needed some more reassurance.
“But what about Switzerland?” Pam asked. “I thought you went there to patch up your marriage.”
“No, I went there because Lucas got married to Emma,” Bobby revealed.
It took Pam a moment to put two and two together and when she did she grew cold inside since thinking about Lucas brought back the pain, “Jenna’s son?”
“Yeah but you know that he’s my son too,” Bobby said.
Pam looked down and bit her lip since it still hurt that Jenna had been able to give Bobby a biological child, while she had been unable to do so. Even after all these years it was still a wound inside of her that hadn’t healed completely. “Yeah,” Pam sighed heavily before asking politely, “So how was the wedding?”
“Really nice,” Bobby smiled. “It was good to catch up some with my brothers.”
“Brothers?” Pam asked surprised. “Gary was there too?”
“Yeah he and Val surprised everyone by flying in for it,” Bobby smiled. “I had a great time with them and Lucy and her family were there too and Ray of course. Donna flew in from Washington too so it was a real family reunion.”
“Sounds great,” Pam said, trying to mask her pain behind a fake smile that fooled no one since they both knew this was hard for her. After all they used to be her family too so to hear that they’d all met without her made her feel a bit left out.
“It was except that being there with Ann made me realize just how far apart we’ve drifted,” Bobby sighed, “So I asked her for a divorce,” he told her. It was not exactly the truth since technically Ann had been the one doing the asking. But since he saw no gain in telling her that he just kept it to himself.
Pam looked up at him with hope in her brown eyes when she heard that, “Because of me?”
“Partly yes,” Bobby admitted, before he took her hands into his own, “Anyway I came here to apologize to you for the way I've treated you after we made love. It wasn't fair to you but I was confused and I needed some time to sort out my feelings before I could make up my mind."
"But I'm not the reason you're divorcing Ann?"
Bobby sighed before he leveled with her. "My marriage with Ann is over. Maybe it wouldn't be if you haven't come back. I don't know. Things weren't great between us before either. But anyway it doesn't matter. All I know is that I don't want to be married to Ann anymore when it's you I really love," He could see her eyes getting misty. "I love you Pam. A part of me always has. I just had to see you again to realize that."
"Oh Bobby I love you too," Pam said emotionally before their lips met in the most wonderful kiss.
Once they pulled apart again Bobby smiled at her. "I'm glad because I can't imagine living the rest of my life without you. So I want you to come home with me.”
“Oh Bobby,” she wanted nothing more than to go back to Dallas with him but a part of her was still afraid that the person who had tried to kill her before was still after her, so she bit her lip, “I wish I could but you know why I can’t...”
“You don’t have to be afraid anymore,” Bobby seemed to have read her mind, so he reassured her by telling her what he knew, “I asked Harris Ryland about your accident and it turns out that it was BD Calhoun that paid him to drive out in front of my car.”
Pam dropped her chin when she heard that, “The terrorist that JR did business with?”
“Yes,” Bobby confirmed. “BD Calhoun was trying to get to my brother through me. If you remember you were driving my car at the time of the accident so the one he really wanted dead was me,” Bobby paused for a moment as that sank in.
Pam’s eyes widened, as she wondered what would have happened if Bobby had been the one in the car crash instead of her and as horrible as it had been, she knew in her heart that she’d rather have lived through it than for the accident to have killed him. “You?”
“Yes so there is no threat against you and therefore you can return to Dallas and live there as planned,” he said reassuringly.
“I see,” Pam nodded, as a tear ran down her cheek. “So I can return to Dallas?”
“Yeah and to Southfork,” Bobby told her, as he looked deep into her brown eyes, “as my wife!”
Her face broke up in a smile, as she wondered if she’d heard him right, “You mean?” She looked at him with so much love that he knew that this was meant to be.
“Yeah, will you marry me, again?” He then asked what she’d hoped he’d ask. Hearing it she could feel herself getting warm all over as she didn’t know if she was going to laugh or cry, as she was so emotional.
“Yes,” Pam smiled with the tears still running down her cheeks as she threw herself into his arms. “I thought I’d lost you forever.”
“I know,” Bobby said with tears running down his cheeks too, “I thought you were dead but then a miracle happened,” Bobby said as he let his hands run down her back, holding her so close to him. “You returned to me.”
“I did,” she said as she pulled back a little to look into his hazel eyes again.
“Just promise me one thing,” Bobby said and added after a beat, “Don’t ever leave me again, okay?”
“I won’t,” Pam said, as she let her hand go up to cup his face, “I promise.”
“Good then let’s go home,” Bobby said before he leant down and captured her lips in the most wonderful kiss. So she kissed him back with a passion and as they made love that night it felt even better than the last time. Since this time they both knew that it wasn’t about getting closure or saying goodbye. No it was really a new beginning for them as they had made a promise to each other to spend the rest of their life together. They might be older now but it made them feel safe, loved and happy to know that they would get to spend their twilight years together after all.
Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings. I always enjoy reading your comments.
@superman fan you are right Judith can be called a lot worse!
It's funny but I never really liked her on the show but since I've written this story the character has grown on me!
@CeeCee72 I'm glad you've been able to catch up and that you loved the scene with Sue Ellen, Gary, Val and Lucy.
Yeah I thought Calhoun would be the most likely culprit to be behind the accident considering it was at the end of the season where he was causing trouble. So it's not such a far stretch to imagine he'd arranged it before he kidnapped John Ross.
You are right that going back to an ex might not be the best idea. But sometimes it does happen. Anyway I wanted to put Bobby and Pam back together again and even if Ann and Harris didn't have the most healthy relationship I did enjoy their flirt in season three so I wanted to build on that. I think Ann brought out a softer side in Harris.
Okay so in tonight's update it's time for Pam to come home to her family.
*
Pam could feel a sense of déjà vu come over her when Bobby pulled off the road and drove under the Southfork Ranch sign. It had been almost forty years since the first time he’d brought her home to the ranch as his wife. That time they’d gotten a frosty reception as nobody was expecting them and the Ewing family hadn’t been happy to hear that their Bobby had up and married Pamela Barnes. She had been Digger’s Daughter so for her to marry Jock Ewing’s son had hurt both his family and hers. But she had went ahead and done it anyway since she loved Bobby. All these years later and a lot had changed in their lives. They had both gone gray, albeit she hid it with hair dye, but the love they felt for each other had grown even stronger. Also unlike the first time he’d brought her home, this time their family was expecting them and were waiting for her return.
When Bobby’s car pulled up in the driveway the whole family was there to greet them. Christopher, Elena, baby Drew, Carmen, Josephine, Pamela Rebecca, John Ross, Sue Ellen, Afton, Lucy, Mitch, Bradley and Ellie were all there, waiting on the patio. Above them they had hung a sign that read ‘Welcome Home Pam!’
Pam unbuckled her seatbelt and smiled, “Oh Bobby, why didn’t you tell me that the whole family was gonna be here?” Pam asked, as she got a bit misty eyed. This was just such an emotional moment for her.
“Because then it wouldn’t have been a surprise,” Bobby smiled, as he also unbuckled his seatbelt. “Welcome home honey, “ he leant forward and gave her a kiss.
“Thank you,” Pam said, as they got out of the car. He then walked around to the trunk and picked out their bags. They only had two suitcases. Pam had a lot of stuff to bring but had decided to send the rest of her personal belongings in moving boxes with a ship.
“Mom!” Josephine called out for her, as she came running up to them. “I’m so glad you’re back!”
“It’s good to see you baby,” Pam hugged her daughter tightly, before she took a step back to look at her, “You don’t mind me moving in with Bobby do you?”
“No,” Josephine shook her head. “In fact can I live with you too?”
Pam smiled surprised at the request, since she had thought her daughter didn’t approve of her relationship with Bobby, “Really?”
“Yeah Southfork’s my brother’s home too, so it makes sense for me to be here,” Josephine explained. “So can I?”
“Of course you can,” Bobby said, as he shook Josephine’s hand. “Welcome to Southfork.”
“Thanks,” Josephine said.
Christopher came walking up to them next, “Welcome home mom. I’m so glad that you and dad worked things out.”
“So am I,” Pam said, as she hugged her son. “I’ve missed you like crazy.” Pam then also hugged Elena and kissed baby Drew on the top of his head. “Hello Drew. Grandma’s back.”
“And he’s glad to have you home,” Elena smiled.
“So are we, you are the only one who could get him to sleep,” Christopher said.
“Not the only one,” Carmen shook her finger. “Nana, can get him to sleep too!
“Carmen,” Pam acknowledged the woman. “Let’s not argue, we both love Drew.”
“Yes we do,” Carmen said and the women shook hands.
Then Lucy came up to them, “Pam,” she smiled and the women embraced.
“Lucy, how are you?”
“Fine,” Lucy smiled.
“See I told you it was nothing,” Pam smiled reassuringly at the younger woman as she gently squeezed her hands. “Isn’t it nice to know?”
“Yeah you were right,” Lucy nodded, “Thanks for giving me a kick in the butt when I needed one.”
“Yeah we owe you one,” Mitch said, as he shook Pam’s hand.
“What are you talking about?” Ellie looked confused at her parents.
“Oh it’s nothing,” Lucy waved it away.
“No it’s not,” Ellie insisted. “You have something face mom. So spill!”
“Alright,” Lucy sighed heavily. “I thought that I had breast cancer like my grandma but I went in for a scan and it turns out that I didn’t.”
“Good since I couldn't stand losing you, mom,” Ellie said, giving her mom a hug.
“You are not going to lose me,” Lucy said with tears in her eyes as she hugged her daughter tightly. Then she pulled back and her son gave her a look.
“I’m glad that you’re healthy mom,” Bradley said, tapping his mom on her shoulder.
“So am I,” Lucy said, as she hugged her son too.
Meanwhile Pam continued greeting the rest of the family, turning to Afton next, “Pam,” Afton smiled as she hugged her friend and former sister in law, “I’m so glad that things worked out for you and Bobby!”
“Thanks, I know you really mean that,” Pam returned her smile before turning to Afton’s daughter.
“Pamela,” Pam smiled at her niece. “Oh look at you, you’re beginning to show now!” Pam excitedly patted her niece stomach.
“So mom’s told you huh?” Pamela made a face.
“Yeah,” Afton nodded. “You know how excited I am to become a grandma.”
“Too excited,” Pamela sighed. “She never leaves me alone. She always have five hundred and one different tips for me how I could make this pregnancy easier.”
“Well she’s only doing it because she loves you and wants you to have a healthy baby,” Pam said.
“I know but it’s so hard,” Pamela bit her lip. “I’m so afraid that something will go wrong...”
“It won’t,” Pam said reassuringly. “Now give me a hug.”
“Okay,” Pamela said, as she hugged her aunt.
“Everything’s gonna be okay,” Pam said before she let go of her niece and turned to John Ross.
“John Ross,” she smiled at him.
“Welcome home Pam,” John Ross said as he also hugged his aunt.
“Thank you John Ross. You know this is in parts all because of you,” Pam smiled at him and John Ross raised his eyebrow, so she went on explaining, “See if you hadn’t come to Abu Dhabi I might never have remembered this place or the family I’d left behind.”
“Well I’m glad that I was able to bring you out of your amnesia,” John Ross said.
“Me too,” Pam said. “It’s a good thing you found me.”
“Well technically it was JR who found you but...”
“Now that’s ironic,” Pam laughed. “I bet JR would have been so thrilled if he’d known that he was the one who was responsible for bringing that dreaded Barnes woman back to the ranch.”
“Oh I can just hear him now,” Bobby smiled at that. “But in all seriousness he always loved me more than he hated you. I mean on our second wedding day he told me that he was okay with us since he wanted me to be happy. So I think he’d be okay with it.”
“Are you kidding me?” Lucy quipped. “He’d be rolling over in his grave!”
“Probably,” Sue Ellen smirked. “But he did love Bobby.”
Pam then shifted her attention to her former sister in law. She was surprised to see that Sue Ellen was here as the woman had made it painfully clear to her the last time they spoke that she sided with Ann. So things were a bit tensed between them.
“Sue Ellen,” Pam acknowledged the woman in a chilly tone of voice.
Sue Ellen sighed, before she said something Pam hadn’t expected her to, “Look Pam, I’m sorry about what I said before you left,” Sue Ellen apologized. “Yes Ann is my friend but we were friends too once and now when you’re back with Bobby I hope we could be friends again?”
“Sure Sue Ellen,” Pam smiled before she gave Sue Ellen a hug.
After they’d broken off the hug Sue Ellen turned to her former brother in law, “Bobby, I’m sorry for what I said to you too,” Sue Ellen apologized. “I only did it because Ann is my friend and we’ve been through some rough patches together.”
“I know that,” Bobby nodded. “You don’t need to explain anything to me.”
“But I do,” Sue Ellen said. “Because I was unfair to you and I can see now that you and Pam are meant for each other.”
“Thank you Sue Ellen, I’m glad we have your blessing,” Bobby smiled.
“You do,” Sue Ellen said and they exchanged a hug too.
Then once they’d broken that off Bobby looked at his whole family that were now gathered at the ranch and smiled at them, “So why don’t we all go inside and freshen up some before dinner?”
“Good idea,” Pam said, as they started moving towards the house.
“So I guess you’ll be living with us,” John Ross said, as they walked into the house.
“Yeah,” Pam nodded. “But we really must do something about the interior design,” Pam wrinkled her nose, as she looked around the living room. “I’m sorry to say it but it looks like you’ve been shopping at Pottery barn!”
They all laughed at that since it was a pretty accurate description. “Well feel free to change whatever you’d like,” John Ross offered. “We want you to feel at home here.”
“See I told you they would be happy that you’re back,” Bobby winked at Pam.
“Yeah you were right and it sure feels good to be home,” Pam smiled and it did. Southfork had only been her home for a few years before she’d divorced Bobby. But those years had been the happiest in her life. So she was hoping that moving back to the ranch again would bring it all back and that their twilight years would be the best in their lives.

wow that's crazy!Thank you so much for the feedback. I am glad that you still enjoy this story!
@superman fan I'm glad you enjoyed Pam's homecoming.
@stevew I'm touched that my story made you cry.
I am a sucker for happy endings myself. So I guess I had to write one even if I am not sure I even believe in happy endings anymore. But I still want to believe in them. Yes you are right Bobby and Pam will be like the head of the family from now on.
Then as for a short summary. You have missed a lot of good stuff. Elena & Christopher have gotten married and Christopher has adopted Drew.
Lucas and Emma have also gotten married and we have got to catch up with a lot of old fan favorites at their wedding such as Ray, Jenna, Donna, Val, Gary, Lucy and Mitch.
Josephine dropped the law suit and got 33 % of Ewing Global. She then went around and sold 10 % to John Ross, 10 % to Pamela Rebecca and gave 3 % to her mother. She also kept 10 % for herself. Bobby gave Christopher 10 % of Ewing Global too so he has 23 % left and Sue Ellen still has 33 % of Ewing Global. So it's a family comany and I think the new dynamic sets up for a lot of interesting power struggles in the future as nobody has controlling interest by themselves. Bobby and Sue Ellen can control the company between them if they want. But Sue Ellen could also control it with John Ross and Pamela if she choses to!
Okay so it's time for tonight's update where we get to catch up with another old fan favorite...

The woman with dark brown hair was sitting in the garden of her house, eating breakfast. It was a beautiful morning and she had a fabulous view of the long sandy beach, turquoise water and palm trees that were swaying in the wind. She was wearing posh clothes, had manicured fingernails and was wearing sunglasses and a hat to protect her from the sun. She had been living on this Caribbean island for the past 10 years now and she loved it. A woman in her twenties came walking up to her with the morning paper, “Dad thought you should see this.”
“Thank you Isabelle,” the woman replied, as she took the paper from her daughter. But then her blood froze to ice when she saw the wedding photos in the paper. It had been so long that the woman hadn’t expected to be confronted with her past again. But there it was in black and white. Bobby and Pamela Ewing had gotten married again for the third time and like that wasn’t distressing enough the photos from the wedding also included one with their two kids Christopher and Josephine. Seeing that picture was so upsetting that she began shaking.
Picking up on it her daughter asked in a concerned voice, “What’s the matter mom?”
“That girl,” the woman said pointing towards Josephine.
“What about her?” Isabelle wondered.
“That’s your sister,” Katherine Wentworth said.
“But how is that possible?” Isabelle wondered, as her face went pale from the shock. “It says here in the paper that she’s the daughter of Pamela Ewing.
“It’s not true,” Katherine shook her head. “I gave birth to her.”
Isabelle looked confused at her mother, “I don’t understand, if she’s really my sister, then why isn’t she living with us?”
“Because I couldn’t love her,” Katherine said sadly. “I met her father several years before I met yours a he was a very manipulative man. He blackmailed me into having sex with him and...”
“Oh no!” Isabelle said in an upset tone of voice, before she reached out and took her mother’s hand in her own.
“Yes I got pregnant with his baby. I thought of using her to extort money from him. But then decided it was not worth it. So I tried raising her on my own. But I was no good at being a mom...”
“That’s not true, I think you are a wonderful mother!”
“Thanks Isabelle,” Katherine said. “I know I’ve done okay with you. But you are easy to love since I love your father but...”
“I understand,” Isabelle nodded.
“Anyway I got my sister Pam to stay with me to help me with Josephine,” Katherine sighed heavily. “It turned out she was much better at being a mom than I could ever be. So I gave up my daughter and let her adopt Josephine,” A tear ran down Katherine’s cheek. “I haven’t seen her since she was five.”
“Oh mom! I wish you would have told me earlier.”
“I’m sorry but I couldn’t,” Katherine cried. “Then you’d want to meet your sister and I can never see them again.”
“Sure you can,” Isabelle said.
“No you’ll see Pam and Josephine thinks I’m dead so that’s why I can never return to them.”
Isabelle frowned, “But why would they think that?”
“Because there was a boating accident, they thought I drowned. But your dad saved me,” Katherine revealed. “I’m sorry for depriving you of your sister for so many years. But it’s better this way for everyone involved.”
“You know what?” Isabelle said and when Katherine looked at her she went on, “I don’t think you hate Josephine.”
“But I gave her up.”
“Yes because you wanted her to have a better life than what you could give her,” Isabelle pointed out. “To me that is not hate mom, it’s love,” Isabelle said and seeing how her mother began to cry even harder when she heard that she reached out and gave her a comforting hug.

Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings. I do appreciate that you've taken the time to comment on my story.
I am glad that you are all happy that Katherine is not dead. I just love the character and I think it was a mistake to kill her off on Dallas TNT so I needed to make sure to establish that she was only presumed dead but was actually still alive!
@superman fan yeah you could say that. It's quite a plot twist for sure!
@reedbrenda75 welcome back to our posting board. I am glad that you've signed up again.
@stevew You're welcome about the summary. I hope you will be able to read the middle part too once the story is finished. I think you will enjoy it.
Unfortunately Wendell is not making a comeback in this story even if I really like the character too.
@pd fan Thank you.
@CeeCee72 Thank you.
I will read your update a bit later tonight. So expect feedback tomorrow.
Okay so in tonight's update a baby is born...
*
It was time. Nine months can feel like a long time when you are expecting a baby. All that waiting and making preparation for a new member of the family. Pamela Rebecca and John Ross had gone through all the usual steps that expecting parents go through. They had gone to the natural childbirth classes, decorated the nursery and discussed baby names. But unlike most parents to be, they had also spent a considerable amount of time worrying that something would go wrong. For Pamela knew that being pregnant didn’t guarantee that you’d have a baby. The miscarriage of the twins was still weighing heavily on her mind. A part of her would always wonder who they would have grown up to be. Her two babies that never got a chance to live. But the longer her pregnancy went the more hopeful she got that this baby would get to be born. By the time she went into her seven months she felt pretty confident that her baby would make it this time. Of course there was always that little voice in the back of her mind that wondered if she’d have a healthy baby or if it would be sick with neurofibromatosis. So after spending all that time waiting and worrying and then going through an excruciating ten hours of childbirth it was a great relief to the new parents when the baby finally came out with ten fingers and ten toes and lots of hair on his head. John Ross cried when he cut the umbilical cord as he’d never been prouder in his life. “It’s a boy!”
“And he’s healthy?” Pamela asked in a worried tone of voice, as a doctor helped John Ross giving the baby his first bath and spanked him on the behind, which made the baby cry.
“Yes congratulations, you’ve got a healthy baby boy!” The doctor said and that’s when Pamela started crying too.
“Can I hold him?”
“Of course,” the doctor smiled, as she looked at John Ross that was holding the baby in his arms. “We just have to tear him away from the doting father first!”
“John Ross?” Pamela said.
“She wants to hold your baby,” The doctor told John Ross.
“Oh I’m sorry, I was just...” John Ross said, as he walked up to his wife and sat down at the edge of the bed, “I just can’t stop looking at him,” John Ross said as he handed the baby over to Pamela. “He’s perfect Pammy.”
“He really is,” Pamela said, as the baby grabbed her finger. “Hello! I’m your mommy!”
“Right, gotta go get our mothers,” John Ross sighed, as he made a motion to get up.
But Pamela stopped him. “No let the nurse get them. I want you to stay here with us.”
“Alright,” John Ross said turning to a nurse, “Nurse would you mind going to the waiting room and get our mothers?”
“Of course how will I find them?”
“Oh you’ll find them real easy. See they will be the ones bickering!” Pamela said and John Ross laughed at that, since it was true that their mother’s really didn’t get along and maybe it wasn’t so strange given their history. After all they had both slept with each other’s husbands at one point and that wasn’t exactly normal.
