Dame Joan unveils a Christmas tree

Dame Joan Collins attended the unveiling of the Burberry and Claridge’s 2025 Christmas tree at Claridge’s. (I have no idea what that is or what it means).

Not bad for 92 years young.

But...

I'm into Second Act (her memoirs) and, when it comes to Dynasty... Holly Crap... It seems to be a mix of false memories... One mistake per page, at least... I mean : she writes about her first scene with Jason/Charlton Heston (and his toupee) on Dynasty ... I strongly remember that, when The Titans aired, a two part Dynasty episode, Alexis (dressed as a nun) was abroad, back in Moldavia to save Galen. She never worked with Charlton Heston on Dynasty. Or did she ? Am I loosing it ?

And Pamela Sue Martin didn't left the show after two seasons...

And so on...

You're quite right, of course. And even Joan admits she gets dates and time fames way off -- her friends even rib her about it.

But I think it's something more: Collins' passive-aggression, as a true diva cares little for accuracy in her frenetic fog a fabulosity.

I remember being in Regent Street, London, in the mid 1980s and Joan Collins was there switching on the Christmas lights. Forty years later and she's still doing the same gig. Fair play to her.
