Northern Ireland can't really cope with driving in any condition - except sunny - and today sees one of the worst bouts of fog we have had in a long long time. I'm aware that many countries out there can cope with extreme weather and I'm just wondering what you find the most difficult, hazardous, most scary etc.

What condition do you hate driving in? I won't drive in snow unless I have to, it scares me, and I panic in the fog because it's so hard to see. A taxi driver I was with one night said he loved driving in the fog because 'you just don't know what's in front of you' (reassuring).

I love driving in the rain however. What about you? What do you HATE driving in?

I think snowstorm is the worst. In particularly if the road is also slippery from ice and it's dark.

More snow seemingly on the way tomorrow so will need to be on my guard for all the bad drivers that seems to bring out.

I dislike driving when its icy, it terrifies me. I'm always scared of another driver running into the back of my car when I break and they're driving too close.

There was a lot of that this evening on my road home from work, absolutely ridiculous that some drivers can't even grasp basic principles of judging your distance in wintry conditions.

More truly atrocious driving today. Admittedly not helped by the fact that the main road to Coleraine had neither been cleared of snow nor gritted, but some of the driving really defied belief.

Driving test sorely needs to be brought up-to-date.

Ice is the worst for me. No matter how good one's tires are they can't operate well on an icy road.

I'm glad bright sun was mentioned. I travel to work in the early morning and often have the sun right in my face. Even with the visor down the nearly direct light is highly irritating and dangerous. Overcast does have it's advantages.

Though we tend to get far too much in the way of overcast conditions here!
