But interesting that the lead in for the commercial break still had the white Dynasty logo from the first 3 episodes of season 1, as can be seen at 0:50.

Huh! That's interesting, I didn't even notice! Maybe that's just what they had on file or something.

This video, from one of the FB sites for DYNASTY, starts out -- and finishes up -- with that Australian-composed tune that always sounds like something that was used for a late-'70s miniseries (and indeed may have been) but was also used in Season 1 & 2 during network promos for the show, but even for recaps ("Previously/last-time on DYNASTY" when even the recaps were far, far better).

It has a sweeping flavor to it, this music, that really seemed to fit what the show started out to be (i.e., something very different from the suffocated, uptight thing it soon became).

It's interesting to see how Joan gives a lesser performance in the master shots, presumably to force them to use her more of her close-ups -- an old trick.
