Around 9pm (my time) every night for the past few nights I've had some issues. In many cases it just was very slow to load (the dreaded "repeating circle"), but last night it struggled to load, then gave up and gave me the error screen. In the past I had a "try again later" page pop up, too. It's always later in the evening (my time)--all other times, it pops right up.

I feel like this keeps happening every once in a while, and I know it's not my computer because other sites still work fine when this happens on here. But if this is already happening when this site isn't even half as full as it was before it blew up, it makes me worry that it could just crash all over again. I hope I'm wrong...

Whatever happened has completely effed up using the site on Safari for me.
I've had a great deal of trouble getting onto the site for two or three days now. It's hit and miss whether I get the site or an expired domain screen. Sometimes clearing my browsing history and then removing my browsing history works for a short time. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the site is fine once I'm on it. Sometimes it crashes while I'm in the middle of a post.
I'm having the same message using Safari on my phone. But oddly, sometimes I could get here using my phone but not my MacBook.
This morning, the site opened fine. Then after about 30 seconds of clicking into a couple of threads the expired domain screen appeared and nothing worked.
I've had to download Chrome just to be able to get on this morning.
Is anyone else having trouble?

I'm having these problems for weeks now, that's why i'm almost not posting anymore, because it just makes me sick and i'm tired of that.
I mostly have time for forums at night (european time) but everytime i try to logon, i just get this page:

And this is EVERY night, for hours and hours and hours.
I'm on about 15 other forums and NONE of them have these kind of problems.
Soapchat - from one shitty, cheap hoster to another - so it seems.
If someone doesn't let me in for dozends of times over weeks, it feels like someone's telling you "you're not welcome here" - but the people in charge here should know that by themselves - or they're in the wrong position.
But i'll stop complaining, i just try some more times and then quietly move on for good - like obviously many others do or already did.
If things don't get back to normal or at least to a more tolerable state, then that was it for me here.

I'm the same... I usually get on to post at night and lately I have had that same error message. Sometimes while trying to post a message. Sometimes the site just sort of freezes and wont load a next page for ages.

I was having this issue on Safari. It got so bad that I finally relented and downloaded Chrome just to get my SoapChat fix. And it worked!!! :hello:

That specific browsers cause an internal server error at nimbushosting (and that ONLY at nighttime) is highly illogical and quite unlikely - but even IF, it would still be their problem and misconfiguration they'd have to look into, not ours.
I won't try Chrome, because i don't want to use it and you probably were just lucky that it worked that way.
But i'll do something else... just to rule the browser issue out: next time the error occours, i'll just ping soapchat directly with the router.
If it answers with the same problem, we know it's not the browser or anything else on our side.

That's the most frustrating, especially when you plan to post a relatively long post. Whenever I notice this, I quickly copy it to Word, although the site remembers what you were going to post. But not necessarily the *complete* post i.e. if the site stops working I can still type my message in here, but that part will not be "remembered".
I was going to update my findings on Peyton Place...well, maybe tomorrow then.

Me neither, but only because they're so annoyingly persistent in trying to persuade me to install google chrome.
Ha! I don't even use google! Never!
Is there a reason you don't use google chrome Matthew or is it because you just don't like it. I use it and was just wondering if it's bad browser to be using?
