One of the greatest song writers of all time, Burt Bacharach has died aged 94. What are your favourite songs written by him? My top 3 are:

There's so many great songs to choose from but these are the first three that came to mind.

Also (later) well-known actors sang Bacharach songs, the one I like the most is George Hamilton's.

Dick van Dyke's song is also catchy.

By the way, Richard Chamberlin's B-side to his top 50 single "Blue Guitar" was the first recording of "(They Long To Be) Close To You".

I've been thinking about Burt Bacharach songs quite a lot recently and the one that kept coming to my mind was This Guy's In Love With You. I'm familiar with the Herb Alpert version and while looking for it on YouTube, I discovered this brilliant cover by Oasis.
