You make good points but it is mostly projection. Hard left people are dying to see Trump in jail and it is just never going to happen. Hillary somehow managed to walk so everything has become a pandering show for each tribe lusting for something to happen that never does. Just false projective news stories for the gullible.
Exactly. I'm a pariah here for saying Russia has been sensationalized in the media. Many of the claims have been overblown, and some have even turned out to be false. The only substantiated charges so far are those of financial crimes and perjury against members of the Trump team, as well as the indictments of thirteen Russian troll farm operators.

And as you can see, Hillary's hardcore supporters stick by her innocence, even though her "innocence" was because the FBI couldn't establish "criminal intent." Still, using her private email account for government business, especially with the potential of receiving classified information, was extremely reckless. If Trump had done that, they would have demanded his head on a platter. Of course, they also don't care that Hillary advocated election tampering in Palestine, nor do they care that Bill and Hillary both enriched themselves through deals with Russian oligarchs. They only care what Trump does. And while I believe he too is corrupt and reckless, I'm not a partisan hack who cheers when Dems get away with corruption.

I've tried making the case that systemic rot in our political system is why we end up with candidates like Trump and Clinton, but that's not a popular opinion here.

SER!'s signature references trolls and specifically mentions off-topic messages. I presume he's talking about Mazzilli and I discussing Hillary, in which case SER! was the first to mention her. He said "Yes, but we’re not talking about Hillary Clinton’s emails." in response to Mazzilli saying that the government is spending a lot to chase nothing. That made discussing her and the email scandal fair game. He also made a crack about Hillary being a better president in my thread about Trump's budget, so he's an expert at off-topic posts.

FBI may have seized recorded conversations from Trump's attorney
Donald Trump's personal attorney often recorded telephone conversations both before and during the 2016 presidential campaign that likely have been scooped up in the FBI raid on attorney Michael Cohen's apartment, office and hotel room, according to sources familiar with the matter.

These recorded conversations, according to one source, were even played back at times to candidate Trump and associates, the source said. Among the recordings were discussions about the campaign and interactions with the media, the source said.

This information reveals how extensively the FBI is reviewing Cohen's job as a fixer for Trump as well as his own personal financial entanglements.

Some of the recordings may have been on the cellphones or computers that were seized by the FBI during Monday's raid. It's likely to raise concerns among Trump allies that the recordings are under review because of the uncertainty over what was recorded.

CNN has also learned that the search warrant sought records relating to Cohen's personal finances and his net worth.

One source said Cohen played to Trump and some associates conversations that he had with political and media figures during the exploratory part of the campaign.

The source said they were generally conversations about whether the news organizations were going to be fair to candidate Trump. Trump viewed the media relationships as transactional, the source said.

Whether Cohen was recording conversations in his Trump Tower office was a source of concern to some Trump associates during the campaign, two former Trump campaign officials said. The Washington Post first reported the concerns Thursday.

"It's one of the first things people entering Trump world would be told: Don't have conversations in his office. He's recording it," one former campaign official said.

As a precaution, some campaign staffers took pains to have conversations with Cohen in the hallway or elsewhere in Trump Tower.

Investigators would not immediately have access to any recordings. Anything seized in the raid would first be reviewed by an independent team that would ensure the material was not covered by attorney-client privilege or outside the scope of the warrant.

Cohen's attorney Stephen Ryan didn't respond to a call requesting comment. He previously said in a statement that the search was "completely inappropriate and unnecessary." He added that the raid "resulted in the unnecessary seizure of protected attorney client communications between a lawyer and his clients. These government tactics are also wrong because Mr. Cohen has cooperated completely with all government entities, including providing thousands of non-privileged documents to the Congress and sitting for depositions under oath."

Maybe Bill pardoned him for something and he owes the Clinton's big in fear of being whacked?

The U.S. special counsel in the Russia probe has evidence that President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen traveled to Prague in 2016, refuting Cohen’s claim that he never visited the Czech capital and bolstering an intelligence dossier that first described the trip, McClatchy reported on Friday.

I still can't forget Cohen's idiotic tweet last year with the photo of the cover of his passport, as if that was any proof he never visited Prague.

Even after he scanned every page from his passport (upon a request from Buzzfeed), that proves nothing, since you don't get a stamp in your passport when you enter the Czech Republic from another EU country which is a participant of the Schengen agreement.

This is significant considering Cohen lied about visiting Prague, but isn't that why associates do the dirty work? If they get caught, it's supposed to give their boss plausible denaibility.

Cohen also gave $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, so he's basically Trump's consigliere. It will be interesting to see where this latest development leads and if any of it falls on Trump.
