I only know the horror movies from Friday the 13th, but never seen a tv-show from it.

hell yeah i have the entire series on dvd the tv series is so worth watching and it really breaks my heart that it got cancelled too soon cause had it lasted longer the show would have ended with Jason's Mask

I do remember watching this when it was on and it was pretty good. It had a shop with I think a brother and sister and their father or uncle investigating artifacts. This is all if I am remembering correctly.
I also would watch another show called monsters that was a monster of the week premise. I think I saw both of these on amazon with monsters a prime video.

yes that was the plot of the show and one of the actors who was on it who played Ryan he was on seasons 1 and 2 and left i think it was during the finale of season 2 or in The season 3 Premiere anyways he was in Jason Goes to Hell he was the lead and he's a pretty good actor as well. the show is worth buying the show was cancelled cause they did some Controversy episodes and there was one this is the episode that got The Episode Hate on Your Dial and it was canceled cause of this episode from what i understand, in fact they only did 20 episodes that season cause though they aired the already filmed episodes they never got a chance to finish it cause it was cancelled,
what also hurt the show was the timeslot had such an awful timeslot which i think was around dinner time when after you see that episode you can see why the religious nuts went crazy. not that i think everyone who is religious is nuts i don't but most of them are normal people it's just when you take things to far is when i have a problem with them. forcing you to believe what they believe pretty much or try to anyways those are the ones that drive me nuts, kinda like that dumb bitch who was against Married with Children there's an episode called Her Cups Runneth Over" which is just about Al going shopping for a bra for his wife at a women's shop some house wife was offended by it and complained to the station about it and those are the types i'm talking about when that episode is nothing nothing compared to other episodes for example.

I seem to recall Friday the 13th the series aired on the weekends like Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I would so check it out again. I will keep my eyes peeled on Amazon.

i dunno about the game for PC but i have the NES one which is pretty bad and freaking confusing as hell too the game to quote the AVGN the game is ASS. he he
the recent game from a year or two ago i have not played because if ya want to beat him in any ways you have to play multilpayer and i know the minute i try it i'm gonna have some 10 year old kid cussing me out on how bad i am at it and well they'd be right and some people play 16 hrs a day and i wish i was joking or maybe not 1 6 hrs a day but it might as well be 16 hrs a day.
my point is it's harder to beat Jason if you play it single player cause if you survive long enough you could get help and then kill Jason together rather than if you play as a single player. anyways the game i think looks good though but i've heard people say on how bad the graphics are etc.. anyways, as for the show i don't honestly remember it even being on at all the 1st time i ever watched it was when sci-fi Channel aired it back in the day and i fell in love with it. it breaks my heart they never went back to the show and it's a bit to late since we lost both Lewis who has since died in real life, R.G. Armstrong i think his name is and than there's Jack who's name i forget he died a couple years back. Robie i don't think acts anymore and i dunno about the dude who played Ryan. i forget the guy's name who came in the last season to be honest.

why don't you just buy the series? it's on dvd hell i have the complete series on dvd. but the series is at least the 1st two seasons anyways, are about Ryan, Mickey & Jack i had to think about it for a minute well Ryan & Mickey's Uncle at least i believe they are cousins had run an Antique Shop and they were all cursed items ya see Louis that's his name had made a deal with the devil & in the Pilot by the looks of it tried to get out of it and the devil killed Louis though he did show up in the show once in awhile his spirit even haunted the shop for an episode. anyways so those 3 are gonna close the shop and start selling things off & than they found a notebook
and in it well it said about the cursed objects & them feeling Guilty that they sold Cursed items to innocent people than they go and get them back i forget how many items there were suppose to be i want to say 300 but i could be wrong. the way the show was SUPPOSE to end was at the very end the last item was going to be Jason's Mask. but the thing that went wrong with the show was simply this 1. it aired at from my understanding at Dinner time kinda how like the Nightmare on Elm Street show did that as well & it that one was SUPPOSE to air late on during the night like at 10:00 pm just like this show was meant to but they aired it like 7:00 for whatever reasons. well it's not a show you watch a dinner neither show really at least not with the family anyways, on both shows they did a lot of Controversial episodes and the one that got it taken off the air it was during season 3 and here's what it was
Johnny carelessly sells a cursed car radio to the brother of a racist man. The racist travels back in time and tries to prevent his father, a member of "The Klan", from being convicted of murder. it was called Hate On your Dial Original November 18th (1989) i believe and i think CBS aired it. i do not remember it even being on the air to be honest. but CBS really had no problem with the show as far as i can tell but they got a lot of complaints and with the airing of that episode i think was the final straw but i could be wrong on the episode. according the Wikipedia they were filming episode 20th episode and the one episode i mentioned was the 7th episode apparently so maybe i'm wrong on the episode.
but anyways during the filming of episode 20 the cast & Crew were told to close up as the show got canned and it was so fast they never got a chance to do a REAL ending which just pisses me off. Ryan was gone after the season 3 Premiere as John D. Le May who was also in Jason goes to Hell as well (1993)
he was the only cast member to appear in one of the films but not as Ryan. anyways he left the show and a new guy came in with the name of Johnny i believe his name is. he was a decent character but Ryan was kinda like the heart of the show really. i first saw the show on the Scifi-Channel back in the late 90's when the channel was still good before it turned into the shit stain it is now.
it was Produced by Frank Mancuso Jr. who produced friday parts 2-4? i think i forget which one was his last one movie wise. but the show is well worth a watch, watch a bit of the show online before you buy it but the show is i think worth a watch. it's one of those shows that's had a lot of now famous names as well. we lost Jack as he died a few years back so they can't do an actual ending sadly. but i would love it if they did do that and just write that he was either killed or died but i really doubt that will ever happen cause i dunno even if there's an audience for it to be honest.
