Apparently Fallmont isn't even a name. No families can be found named Fallmont. It may have come from Falmouth? Falmouth University does have a crest which is very nice.

It's surprising that all the names from Dynasty and The Colbys all originate from old Irish, Scottish and English family names. Years ago I had thought Colby was Greek and that Blaisdel was French.

How about the House of Fallon? --- I've long wanted Blake's mother's side of the family, The Fallons, to be "one of the oldest, most respected families in Colorado" -- unlike Blake's father's side of the family whom made off with the Pennsylvanian treasury or whatever, those riff-raffers.

Also The House of Fallon just sounds like a Couture House. That would have been a great storyline and so fitting for Dynasty instead dreary La Mirage. Fallon starts a fashion house funded by Daddy. Endless parades of Nolan Miller creations. The La Mirage set could have been The House of Fallon. It could have been a big storyline in the beginning and then fizzled into the background at times and referenced here and there.

Morell or Morrell is a tricky one. The name Morell is apparently of Spanish origin, and Morrell is English. There are two coats of arms and both names seem to be found on both coats of arms.

So Stephen Morell had a Spanish father...! A hatter. Who made very special helmets. On the order of his Majesty, The Conquistador. **
