I hope she survives past the time a name comes. Any name ideas? Poor thing needs a name as we are in January. I hope the leaf dropping continues to slow. They don't usually pick-up adding new leaves until warmer weather arrives. I so hope the forth time is the charm for you and your Poinsettias. Happy plants are good to have. If she lives she'll turn into a giant. :yikey: BTW, how is Tiny Tim? Jealous orchids indeed. Do you keep them together? I looked a Pinkie Poinsettia yesterday and she looks sad. No new growth and fewer leaves. Frankly, I'd be surprised if she pulls through. I'm puzzled on what caused her decline. I just wish I had a greenhouse to place her in during these cold months. Thank you, Venus is on a slow mend but wants to live. After losing three it's nice to know I learned something from their deaths. I'm waiting to see who blooms first. Some orchids are cheaters and have added secondary spikes on older primary spikes and Pumpkin just added extra room on a flowering spikes and has new buds on that. They don't play fair. o_O I learn so much from them. Some people want to keep them for the long term. A bank I use would keep them and I would ask about them from time to time. It's just a shame to toss them after New Years, a crime in fact. No, my last one was a discounted rescue from a hardware store on 18 December, Lazy Sunday. That was the name on the inner pot so I don't have to think of a new name. I'll have to keep from getting over my head here in 2022. I have thirty-seven to care for. I don't want to get too far over my head with these orchids.
