The truck broke down and everyone had a good laugh. It happens. Luckily no one was hurt. But apparently she wasn’t laughing, and DFF didn’t know that part yet. So I strolled over to the dry erase board one morning in the room where we have our morning meetings when no one was looking and I drew a map of a gas station with the gas pumps and I drew the truck and I drew a certain female putting the wrong gas in. Well, 49 out of 50 people laughed, and you can imagine which one didn’t. And so The Great Dry Erase Board War of 2016 began. The next day I go in the room and I happen to look at the board and there I was. Someone had drawn a picture of me driving my truck off a cliff into a canyon. Now, this is where I made my mistake. I probably should’ve apologized right there but oh no, DFF refused to give in. And so the next day she drew a picture of my house on fire with me in it. Well, I still didn’t apologize cause now I think she’s going too far and I want to see what she’s gonna do to me next. And so on and on it went for weeks, terrible things being done to me on the dry erase board for all to see. She drew my car blowing up on the interstate, she drew a tree falling on me, she drew me getting attacked by wild wolves. In the meantime, the other girls who I’ve pretty much all pranked over the years aren’t helping matters. They’re all telling me I never should’ve pranked her cause she’s fresh out of a mental hospital and I picked the wrong girl to mess with this time. And I’m like well how was I supposed to know this cause she’s brand new here!! Why didn’t someone tell me? And then one day finally, as I expected, she drew my grave with people all around as I lay in it. She drew the casket and the headstone, even the minister. She drew the undertaker and the pallbearers. And that’s when I got the point. So I went to the board the next morning before she got to work and I drew a hatchet buried in the sand. I drew a white flag, I drew a huge heart, I drew a box of cupcakes, I drew horses, I drew the ocean, I drew a shopping mall, I drew some nice flowers, a hairdryer, a cell phone, chocolates, a new pair of shoes, myself kneeling in front of her begging for forgiveness. You know, pretty much everything a woman loves. And I stood in the hallway, hiding as I waited for her to come in. Finally she walks in and goes to the board and stands there looking at all my pictures with her arms folded, a confused look on her face. But after a minute I detected her making some sense out of all of it and she’s starting to smirk a little. And that’s when I knew it was okay to walk in. So I went in and I apologized profusely for everything and told her I never meant to hurt her, I had no idea she was fresh out of a mental hospital and told her I would’ve never teased her had I known that. And I said that I’m tired of looking over my shoulder all the time and checking the brakes on my truck every day to make sure she hasn’t cut the line and she just starts laughing hysterically. “You think I’m crazy, don’t you,” she asked. “I’m not nuts you idiot! I just wanted to give you a dose of your own medicine. I pranked you right back and you don’t even know it. Me and with the help of a few of your friends. And I made up the mental hospital stuff. I thought it was a nice touch. You think I’d really hurt you?” And that’s when I realized that she had gotten me back. She tortured me for weeks to get me back her way. I just stood there silent, not sure what to say. “So what do you have to say about my prank,” she asked. “What can I say,” I replied. “You’re a genius.” So we hugged and she’s been my best friend ever since.

Yes, I can get giddy as well. [QUOTE="DallasFanForever, post: 314910, member: 13221"] I believe I’m going to try it on my niece and nephew first. They’re usually my sounding board for this kind of stuff. I do enjoy driving them both insane so I’ll let you know how it goes. She was asking everyone why her scanner was in French. Even the GPS was speaking French to her, which I thought was a nice touch. Luckily she has a sense of humor. One time I pulled one that probably went too far though. I didn’t mean it to be that way. I never do mean spirited pranks as a rule but this time it got out of control. We had a girl who was brand new and accidentally put the wrong gas in her truck. The truck broke down and everyone had a good laugh. It happens. Luckily no one was hurt. But apparently she wasn’t laughing, and DFF didn’t know that part yet.
