I guess most people just don’t like the later years cause so much of the original cast was gone and the actors that were there seem to catch the brunt of it. That was such a treat at the time cause I had never seen much of the show before the 1983-84 season other than some reruns here and there over the years. They all have their strengths and flaws. When I started watching it was early 1984 so then up until 1987 was my favorite time of the show. But then when I went back years later and watched the older episodes I have to say that now I’m probably partial to 1978-81, although if you asked me which era was the best overall I’d say 1981-85. From Kristen’s death to Bobby’s was arguably the best 4 years of prime time TV. I don’t think the later years are as bad as most people remember. After over a decade of being on the air a lot changes with a show. People come and go and it’s hard to stay on top for 13 seasons. I think a lot of people, including myself, can be overly critical with those later seasons. Yes. Well, I tend to remember when someone tells me they’re a good shot. I don’t think it’s a good thing to forget anyway!</blockquote>
