[QUOTE="DallasFanForever, post: 347852, member: 13221"] No apology is ever necessary my friend! And we’ve missed you as well. Even I haven’t been around here much lately to be honest. Things have been very hectic. I do like the sound of this Lashes! It would definitely be a big hit down here. Would you believe I haven’t seen snow since 1996? I guess I avoid going up north during the cold months for the most part but I do miss seeing snow. I hope you didn’t get snowed on too badly this week though? And let’s see...................... Right now it’s 75 at about 9PM so it looks like we’re having a cold front LOL. It’s just not cooling down this year for us. Usually by early November we get some cool weather but I’m still roasting here in early December. I know what you mean about the summer evenings. The hot weather does get old after awhile but down here there’s the luxury of staying outdoors most of the time. If I had this weather as a kid year round I would’ve stayed outside all night and sharpened my baseball skills instead of taking 5 months off every fall and winter and having to start over every spring (he says with no apparent bitterness). Yes, it was very busy but I did like it. The toughest part was it was a very dirty job. I mean extremely dirty! I kept ruining my uniforms from all the dirt and grime, and I’d end up with pine needles all over my hair and in my shoes. But it was fun though. I really enjoyed helping people pick out their trees and trimming them for them. Plus for the ones that were lucky enough to get assigned out there it got us out of working inside the store itself. That was where the real madness was of course. I like the smaller trees too. I haven’t even bought one yet this year cause it’s been so crazy at work already. For many, many years I didn’t put up a tree but that’s changing this year. They’re such interesting reptiles to observe but I have the feeling their vision isn’t exactly the best. Or, as my boss pointed out, it could be my vision that’s off. Thank you for saying that Lashes! And as for the decorations, well, I’ve only taken one spill so far this season. Luckily, the hurricane season is officially over for us but I guess you never really know down here. Let’s hope it’s over anyway! I have to agree. The holidays are largely about all the good food in my book and I guess I overdid a little it on Thanksgiving but that’s fine. I’ve dropped 40 pounds and who knows, maybe, just maybe, DFF is now secretly in training for a baseball comeback but hasn’t told anyone yet. You never know! That’s between us of course Lashes. Now let’s see, this is quite catchy. And I can basically keep my initials. I’ll consider this one I love Rudolph but I’m not feeling it with this one for some reason Wow! I know I was the one that suggested Silent Lashes but I have to be honest that I like Santa’s Lashes better. It sounds catchier to me when I say it. Just my opinion of course.
