It's great to see you again 'Lashes. This place isn't the same without you. :hugs: Indeed they are. The know that orchids are good things. Indeed. I'm eager to see this beauty. Your new orchid needs a name. :D No newbies since 31 October. Many are spiking and I may get a bloom or two by Christmas. I have two on the way as my orchid Velly has two keikis (baby orchids) that I plant to cut off after they are done blooming. Good news, #5! I'm eager to see you newest Poinsettia. This is their time of year. Well bad news here. Streetie is generally fine here with me and Princess is fine with my Mother but Duchess is looking very ill and could die. I think she was over-watered by my Mother and we are trying to dry her soil out in hopes to save her. I didn't bag them this year so they are not colouring too much, at least yet. Now I do have a new plant and story to go with it. Pippa The Pepper. My neighbor had a garden of plants on her porch this summer and when they died-back she left them unattended as the frost moved in. Most were Tomatoes which were to die anyway but one red pepper plant looked okay. I read that peppers can winter-over so on 16 November I brought her in from the looming frost. My neighbor could care less and I took her into my home a few days later. On 29 November I gave Pippa The Pepper a pruning so she will be able to grew with new leaves in the Spring. Pippa The Pepper is now in a window with Streetie. Hopefully she makes it through winter and I plant to take her to my Mother's garden in May.
