If she had to pick a favourite New York would probably just come out on top over Las Vegas and San Francisco. She only had chance to do the usual tourist locations but said it was absolutely amazing and a very special experience. I've seen photos of Time Square and Ground zero (Is that the correct name for the Twin Towers location? apologies if it's not) She saw the Statue of Liberty by boat and could see Central Park from her Hotel. It also snowed! My husband visited in the early 2000s and also really enjoyed New York. It's somewhere he's promised to take me one day (I'm still waiting!) I'm coming round to the idea now whereas before I felt I would find it a little overwhelming. As you know I've only been to Palm Springs and since then I've wanted to plan another visit to the States and see much more. I'm sure I will go soon. I was itching to go for the Dallas reunion this weekend and even looked into it but I fear I could be disappointed by such a well organised and large event compared to the wonderfully disorganised and intimate event I went to. I still secretly wish I was there though! Lucky you! It's 3 degrees Celsius today (about 37.4 I think) but lucky us it's going to double figures next week hitting 10-12 which I think could be around the 50 mark like the temperatures you had. It's been a very wet winter this year but spring is on the way, fingers crossed. Sorry to hear you're nursing yet another injury. Here's hoping you recover real soon. Take care DFF and have a great weekend too!
