So often scandals like this on soaps are forgotten as soon as the story is over, with no long-term effects, and considering what Lotus Point is, it could not escape unscathed from a murder. Admittedly, however, it’s obvious Lotus Point is on its way out, and that prospect I am not happy about.&nbsp;&nbsp; Baby/kids illnesses on soaps are also often used singularly to advance plot in some ways. It is no different in this case either, but the sheer weight of effect that it has (from revealing more information about Patricia, to bringing Greg back and the reveal that Mac and Karen have bonded with her) makes it worth the time. Abby spends the entire episode completely freaking out over The Mummy. Her interactions with Judith, drinking in the bathroom, desperately trying not to cry, and her post-dinner moment with Greg (&quot;How will you ever repay me?&quot;), however, really save it. And not to mention one of the funniest, laugh-out-loud moments of the show when Charles shows up uninvited (once again) and, when Brian gets the hint from Olivia that they should make themselves scarce, the excuse he comes up with is, &quot;There’s a great documentary on salamanders I wanted to see!&quot; Abby&#039;s rolling of the eyes is everything.Gary, Val and Jill take the week off.DDD</blockquote>
