It looks considerably different, but this campaign headquarters was filmed at 10875 Washington in Culver City, California. I’ve marked some rock work that matched what we saw onscreen. Sometime after 2012, the building was remodeled and now it would be difficult to know this was the spot!later in Mastectomy Pt. 1, we see the HQ of the nascent Barnes for Congress campaign... it must be in LA, since this episode is the first of the season with the fake Southfork (following Rodeo, which was clearly in Texas)
I can't make out any address numbers, which I learned on this thread is a key way to find these! I can't quite make out the name of the mortuary down the street, which would be a good clue.

...and something I missed when I've watched this episode before: Alan has a car phone!!

thanks a lot !!! I had been searching it for years !!!!!!!It’s been a long time since I have searched for a location, but helping finding the location of Bobby’s funeral site has lit a fire I guess! Found a new one! In Return Engagements (s03e14) Gary and Valene are here and get remarried. The location for the exterior shot (330 S Almont Drive) was located at the intersection of Burton Way & S Almont Dr in Los Angeles. It still looks the all these years later!
Found this one!

Plenty that I still need to track down! Any in particular that you are looking for?Are there filming locations you haven't found ? i'v been searching some for years especially from the second or third season
Mitzi’s? Yes!Has anyone found the LA location cafe used where Sue Ellen meets up with Dusty, used by Mitch and his university friend Jean and where Cliff met Van Buren? Think I found it thanks to an episode of Highway To Heaven!
Yes, that's it! That hardware store was still there on the other side back then. That angle shot from Knots was also used in the final season of Dallas, when Bobby was in LA with Jory. At the top of the road you can see the building where Bobby found the dead body of Jeff Farraday and where Cliff Barnes went to see Harrison Van Buren. They didn't have far to go to film their cafe scene.Mitzi’s? Yes!
It appears to me that they used a restaurant located at what has now been absorbed by an expansion of the Grand Casino (3826 Main St, Culver City, CA). Looking at the storefront from the street, Mitzi’s would have been on the left hand side.
The exterior was used here on Knots Landing:
Thoughts?

I found another one this afternoon—one I have looked for for a very long time! I’ll share details soon!

I have not had luck finding that one yet. Any ideas, @TJP? You had a lot of knowledge with LA restaurants.yes I I look for the location of that restaurant ! don't know if it's in Los Angeles or Dallas, it first appeared in épisode : Triangle ! I'll be happy to have a look again. It didn't ring a bell with my during my first round when I revisited the show episode by episode just to identify the locations.I have not had luck finding that one yet. Any ideas, @TJP? You had a lot of knowledge with LA restaurants.
Appreciate it! Gut says is an LA location, but it is a hunch. Looks like they might have come from 02.16 “Julie’s Return.” That is Tina Louise in the white coat and she was only on five episodes.I'll be happy to have a look again. Which episode are the above screen grabs in @captainarcher 's post from? I tried to find the location in "Triangle", but couldn't find it. My first attempt will be to see if it is a "pure" L.A. episode or if it's from a mixed Dallas / L.A. episode, then I'll check the background actors to determine if it was filmed in L.A., and I'll go from there.

Thanks for looking. The search continues! Interestingly, the first exterior shot You included was from a restaurant that used to be in Minneapolis! I guess they had some stock footage from Minnesota the my needed to put to use.# 2.16 (DVD count) / 1.16 (original count) is definitely a "pure" L.A. episode because it's late in the season. Not sure if the first establishing shot (screen grab 1) the same place as the interiors. Neither rings a bell with me unfortunately. But what I can definitely say is that the interiors were filmed somewhere in Greater L.A. due to the background talent, which includes Lee Allen, Ernie Tate and Norman Palmer in particular — all the usual extras working on many "Dallas" episodes and on every other show from that era. Lorimar never took L.A. based extras on distant location unless they were promoted to stand-ins, so we can definitely rule out a Texas location.

The second establishing shot has probably nothing to do with the real location at all since this was stock footage that originated elsewhere way before "Dallas" was filmed. It was used on many other shows and actually shows the Saloon, a former restaurant at 9390 South Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills. That restaurant burnt to the ground towards the end of the 1980's; the whole block was rebuilt.

When looking for a location, I usually try to trim down the area in question by checking out the other locations where scenes were specifically filmed scenes for that episode because location managers usually use locations that are conveniently situated nearby. Unfortunately, however, there are not many since this is a very "interior" episode, i.e. pretty location-less.
The night scene with Ellie and Jock in front of Julie's apartment was shot at 6125 Canterbury Drive in Culver City, and it's basically the only location I can determine as specifically shot for this episode outside the studio. Therefore, I'd look for restaurants in that area. I know Lorimar liked filming in Fox Hills, so that might be a good guess. That's all I can say for now though.
Here is an interesting tidbit. The restaurant exterior shown as the place where J.R. and Kristin are eating wasn’t in Texas or California. Where was it? Would you believe Minneapolis? Unfortunately Charlie's Cafe Exceptionale is gone now.

I guess they just needed stock footage of a restaurant exterior and had that one on hand.
