Excellent. OK. The picture attached is my take. The building you selected is close if not the cigar itself.

In episode ROYAL WEDDING, at 32:56 Mainwaring is in JR's office, sitting. The building I'm keying off of above is between Bobby and Mainwaring, in the lower part of the window. Based on that pic, and the angle shown with Southland and Bryan Towers, it looks like the office pic was either top of your selected building or the one behind it. I'm also going still going on my premise from memory that Katy Trail is close to the pic location, in on the downtown side.

I'm still working on the view from behind JR's desk. The smoke stack off on the distance used to be out toward the river I think. But I haven't yet found anything to key in on....yet!

This is good stuff!

amazing how good you guys are at this!

here's a view from Bobby's office in Season 1's Bypass - it's the real live view of the location, as you can see cars moving in the background

zpdyOIt.png

that prominent building you see in the foreground, just over his shoulder, with a 2-story middle section with 7 windows on each floor? That doesn't seem to be around anymore, but... in Google Street View, 2008:

H94j28D.png

there it is, 3100 Carlisle, looking not as grand and important as it did in 1978, but precisely where it should be based on what you had determined!

And now that building is gone, replaced by the Taylor Uptown Luxury Apartments and Penthouses (Where Haute Meets Cool in Dallas) - https://tayloruptown.com/

(Jock would have been a fan of the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art, I'm sure... "Just what in the HELL is this??")

Awesome find, Guzzler. That's great about the cars moving. Great catch!

S6E7 - HIT AND RUN. JR and HarryM set up Mrs. Driscoll coming out of the hair dresser. It's Highland Park Village, Dallas, TX. Built in 1931, Highland Park Village has become somewhat of a legend in Dallas. A historical market cites it as the oldest shopping center in the country...

The remodeling of the Village Plaza Building, still referred to by many as the “old bank building ’ is almost complete. First RepublicBank Park Cities (formerly InterFirst and Park Cities bank) occupied the space before moving down the street. It's now a Starbucks. The center has been updated over the last 40 years.

This is close to how it looks today. I noted below where Interfirst Bank was during filming.

First, below, note the window supports in the top of the shot. They match the supports in the current picture.

Next, note Interfirst Bank at the end of the lot (now Starbucks).

Lastly, note Jos K Wilson on the way to her accident. This was my key to finding this location.

I know we are focusing on the original run is Dallas, but The same shopping center shows up in season 2, episode 1 of the revival. First Harris meets Ann at an art gallery. Moments later John Ross is met by his detective.

Interesting point. I'm surprised they went on location. But don't want to get into my not having seen the nouveau show here.

I'll have to watch for scenes of people coming out of theaters.

Galleria Parking Lot
https://goo.gl/maps/7GwRbDCH2hREMRnm7

Since we are talking about parking lots, here is one that shows up twice. First J.R. and Katherine meet (s07e04). Later J.R. meets Mandy (s10e03).
Yeah...years ago was gonna check that...was thinking maybe Northpark or Valley View Mall, but they don't have the raised parking lots. Good one.

OK...looking for the "club" where Mitch met Lucy, and Afton is singing after Cliff gets her a step in gigs.

The sign says "daVinci" but don't find that in Dallas or LA. Could be a hotel entrance too.

It was in Dallas off of Greenville Avenue and Pineland but I believe it has been demolished now. That exterior establishing shot continued to be used pretty late in the series.

Just saw an s6 ep with Miss Ellie coming out of a restaurant called "ELAN" at 5111 Greenville Ave. It's noted in the dmagazine link above on Greenville Ave. It's now an Office Depot-anchored shopping center, next to Harve Smithfield's office, the Meadows Building. The red arrow points to where ELAN used to be.

Meadows Bldg Elan.png

daVinci's location exterior is where Lucy met Mitch, and where Afton is performing in S6. It's down the road from Harve's at 7402 Greenville Avenue at Pineland and Belco, and is populated by a few minor mixed stores, looking shabby and run-down. Like all cities, they evolve. Greenville Ave used to be the popular location for food, and bars and restaurants. When I was there around '93, it was already a bit run-down. I don't know enough of the area to know what part of what cycle the area is in. I did find a Google maps pic, a shot with what may have been the restaurant still there, with the entrance down-sized.. Other google pics have it demolished. This could've had the curved drive-up.

daVincis.png

On the same property in the back are other stores, so possibly it's back there. This area behind previous pic. I'm thinking it could also be where Sharkey's is below, due to the possible curved drive-up to the club. This area is actually marked as the address, but it shares the lot with the above pic.

I've been trying to find Holly Harwood's house, but have had no luck. Any ideas? I haven't seen any palm trees, so I'm guessing the Dallas area.

Found it....Holly Harwood's home. Was looking around the area where Rebecca's house and the SF interiors were shot. It's 5819 Deloache, Dallas. For years was wondering where it was.

Here's the shot from above.
hollys-home-png.16829

Here's an overhead. The two windows over the front entrance match up, as well as the headers over the two side windows. You can even see one of the portals over the left window. The brick in the driveway matches up along with the center fountain. Zooming in on google gives more info. Note the pool and the pond, noted when JR went to tell her to sell a division to Petro State, s6e 10 or 11.

Here's JR driving in. Note the curved wall, end, and the top of it.

Here's a google shot of the wall at street view.

When Rebecca moved to Dallas in season 6 she purchased this stone Georgian Revival house with a portico and cupola reminiscent of George Washington's Mount Vernon.
4930 Park Lane Pam.png
It was located at 4930 Park Lane in Dallas.
4930 Park Lane, Dallas, TX 1.png
This photo was taken shortly before the house was demolished. Note that the balustrade above the portico had been replaced at some point.
I found a few interior pics taken shortly before demolition, I don't believe any interiors were filmed there.
4930 Park Lane current.png
An English Palladian style mansion was built in its place.

The 1984 Tom Hanks movie "Bachelor Party" was set in and filmed in Los Angeles.
Bachelor Party 2.jpg
This provocative photo is of a bridal shower set in the living room of Hank's future in-laws.
Bachelor Party.png
This (sorry - it's the best I could find) is a view of the other end of the living room.
Pam's living room.png
This photo is of Pam's living room from 1984.
I don't know the location of this house but I assume it's in Los Angeles. "Bachelor Party" didn't do any filming in Dallas.

For some reason (can someone please explain) the stone house from 1984 was replaced two seasons later.
Pams_House 2.jpg
The replacement is brick, instead of stone. The house is eclectic with a Greco-Roman portico, Tudor style windows on the first floor and a Tudor style door topped by a Georgian pediment.
pams-house-rear_zps843b04c6.jpg
Here's a view of the back of the house. Several sites, including IMDb, give the address as 6771 Westlake Avenue but that is wrong.
6771 Westlake Avenue.png
The only large house near 6771 Westlake is this and it definitely isn't Pam's house.
6735 Westlake Avenue back.jpg
This is the back of 6735 Westlake Avenue, other than paint and some landscaping, it's clearly the same house.
Pam's House.jpg
The front looks much different though, the portico has been replaced by an addition. Overall, the home is decidedly more Tudor in style.
6735 Westlake Avenue.png
Here you can see that the windows are still the same size and shape as before the remodel. Note the round window partly obscured by the tree.

The only explanation would be contractual. I assumed they had to find a new home. At I think 4800 Park Ave, as I noted earlier in this thread, is the house two doors down from "Rebecca's" used for SF interiors dvd S2. It's currently for sale, and can be seen on Realtor.com. At some point in S2 or S3 they went to the Culver City set for home interiors.

This could have been a standing set, also used for the movie, or vice-versa. Anything to save money...
In addition to the living room, the entry and dining room are the same in "Dallas" and "Bachelor Party".
Pam at window.png
I suspect this was an actual house. The view outside this window is a very good fake if it isn't real. The scenes in this house are not lit like other scenes during that season (or most of the show's run), they are lit as if sunlight is streaming through the windows instead of an abundance of overhead lights.
