I remember watching the above scene when it aired and I screamed NOOOOO!!! when I saw Mark - you supposed to be dead/gone why are you back and it spoiled my whole future viewing of that season.

I have to admit that I did find that scene and the part that led up to it a bit odd. It was sort of creepy how people kept reporting to Mark about Pam being at her breaking point or something. Why would Mark want to wait for that to happen?

It was totally creepy. Also I think they brought back Mark too fast after Bobby's death. I would have wanted to see Pam single longer after Bobby's death. Not just jumping back into a relationship with Mark. It weakened the character IMHO and made it seem like she was dependant upon having a man in her life.
