RMT union leader Mick Lynch has been interviewed widely on the broadcast media in the UK recently to defend the strike action his members have been taking recently and it's been beautiful to watch. The media have tried to portray him as a hard left union baron hell bent on creating disruption and making unrealistic pay claims but his super media appearances in which his calmness and assertiveness when making his case has won him and his cause a large amount of fans and support for his cause while simultaneously showing up his interviewers as being right wing propagandists. This video just shows a few of him many great media appearances.

Dealing with Piers Morgan trying to make an issue of him using The Hood from Thunderbirds as a joke on his page. On Question Time and more. And more.

I think he's brilliant, articulate, clear, committed and doesn't take any nonsense from ignorant broadcast journalists. A majority of the public support the rail workers strike and that has a large part to do with how Mr Lynch has been able to explain their case against a hostile media.
