Napa and Sonoma Valley wildfire – bad news.

- Spring Mountain Vineyard (FC winery / vineyards) in St. Helena CA and the Villa Miravalle (FC mansion) were unscathed.
- Stags’ Leap Manor (Gioberti castle) was not damaged but four buildings belonging to Stags’ Leap winery succumbed to the fires.
- The Silverado Trail mansion which was used as Richard’s residence in seasons 5 to 7 inclusively burnt to the ground, in the Napa Atlas ravaging disaster.


Roland Saunders’ dead body as been found in the winery and Fred Wilkinson is on the case. Everybody is being questioned, with Angela and Richard each blaming the other, (a scene from season 6, 1986 – ‘87):

Fred: “Was there anybody there that didn’t belong?”

Angela: “Well, I didn’t invite Richard Channing.”

After a while Fred asks Richard why he was there, when he wasn’t invited.

Richard: “Well, Angela and I never stood on ceremony.”

It must be devastating for the people that live there to not only lose their homes but also their livelihoods.

Ah how sad. The mansion shown from the fall 85 to summer 88 was my favourite of Richard's houses.

I liked Richard's first mansion more than the others. The breath taking balcony view of the valley sealed it.
