It seems to be old threads from Soap Chat but when you click on them they don't open. I came across it when I noticed some pictures that I recognised on google images.

It's an RSS feed (a type of a news/web content aggregator) with little teasers of each thread from October 15, 2013 till present day. They don't open, because they all link back to Soapchat which no longer hosts those threads.

What's however good about this is that we basically have a list of threads posted in the past 3 years or so with a sample of the OP along with some content used in that OP which is hosted on other sites (such as pictures or videos).

It's not much, but at least it gives us an overview of the topics we had discussed (many of which we may have forgotten - perhaps they could be used for new discussions) and it may contain snippets of some valuable content - either some information contained within the opening lines of the actual post or the aforementioned images/videos hosted elsewhere.

It made me sad though when I saw the opening line of @James from London 's excellent Re-watching Season 2 thread from 2007: "Enter Alexis (why not... everyone else has)." I wish that could be resurrected.

Maybe we should contact the NSA and friendly ask for some of the threads. At least all their collecting would do some good then.

It makes me believe that somehow someway, there must be something out there.
And you were absolutely right. The 2017 me didn’t know how to retrieve them, but having recently lost a valuable source of old TV schedules on Twitter, the 2020 me learned how to tap into the nethers of the web and resurrect the ‘gone for good’. If @James from London permits me, I’d be happy to re-post his amazing “Re-watching season 2” reviews. So far, I’ve been able to put together the first 4 episodes. Not sure, but hopeful about the rest. They truly are a hoot to read.
