The Duchess of Bland sued a French tabloid for invasion of privacy but she is still allowed to give interviews and no one criticises her for double standards.

There's a big difference between a newspaper publishing the contents of a private letter and Meghan giving an interview about her humanitarian work.

I've just finished Royals at War and it made the same point about Kate. It even went so far that Prince Charles had to intervene and tell both Kate and William to make more effort to welcome Meghan to the Royal Family. I've always felt that Harry and Meghan with their more natural approach, confidence and charisma overshadowed Willie and Kate and the Cambridges resented them for that.

It's ok, spends too much time on historical facts about the Royal Family that everyone knows already (like the history of
Charles and Di). There were a few new facts about the modern Royals but mostly the book was stuff of which I was already aware.

Finding Freedom was a better book.

And lets be honest if he didnt have HRH in front of his name no one would give them tuppence!

The fact that 1 member of her family only was at their wedding sums it all up, let them have their fake, phony friends who are friends because he has HRH in his title

The 'Good Morning Britain' presenter slammed 'greedy hypocrites' Meghan and Harry over their latest photo they shared to confirm the happy news about their second child.

The couple revealed the big news about their second child on Valentine's Day, saying another baby royal is on the way. The Archie's parents also shared a monochrome snap of themselves under a tree, with Harry resting his hand on Meghan's head as she cradles her bump.

The TV host branded the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 'hypocrites' after the pair stepped back from public life and announced they weren't going to engage with four major British tabloids anymore.

Piers wrote in his Daily Mail column: "For this is yet another example of Meghan and Harry's brazen hypocrisy, and further evidence that they don't have any real desire for privacy.They just want the right to use the media to promote themselves when it suits them, and trash and ban them when it doesn't."

He continued: "In fact, it's quite clear that the pair of them crave attention and publicity like ravenous jackals gorging on the carcass of a freshly slain gazelle."

The GMB presenter also compared Meghan and Harry to reality TV family the Kardashians, saying "publicity is key to their success and bank balance".

He added: "In this regard, they're no different to reality TV celebrities like the Kardashians who don't actually do anything for a living other than sell their 'brand' to the highest bidder.

Piers Morgan has continued with his rant bout Harry and Meghan and slammed their pregnancy announcement.

And he's now accused the couple of being "beyond parody" - after it was announced they'll give Oprah an exclusive interview.

Which makes it even more baffling as to why, just a few days later, she would then want an incredibly revealing private photo of her and Harry and their unborn child to appear on the front page of the Mail and the front pages of all the other papers she claims to hate.

Piers Morgan knows all about hypocrisy, he's the first to criticises anyone who travels unnecessarily during lockdown but thinks it's ok for him to travel to Antigua for a holiday. He claims he's a patriot but he published fake photos of British soldiers urinating on Iraqi prisoners of war to support his narrative. The man has less credibility than SpongeBob SquarePants.

Meghan and Harry are paying their own way. They are earning their own money so I have no problem with that especially as much of it funds their humanitarian projects.

On the other end of the scale, the Queen and all her family of hangers on cost me and other tax payers over £345 million every year, including the costs of security, pensions for their staff and money they keep from the state owned Duchy of Cornwall and Duchy of Lancaster. People on minimum wage, struggling to feed their children, some having to visit food banks, are paying taxes to fund these privileged people to live a life of luxury. These people have no shame.

Great article, hits the nail on the head. This line sums up the the media's coverage of Meghan:

"You want people to think you’re the greatest journalists in the world, even though you had the story of the prince and his paedo mate staring you in the face and preferred to run headlines like 'Is Meghan’s favourite [avocado] snack fuelling drought and murder?' "
