It kind of makes me glad that he mostly supported by viewers and the general public. Forcing someone out like that is vile. He managed to keep his job and save face. I mean it was his life and between him and his family.

As a society we have come a long way in accepting and supporting LGBT+ people which is a good thing. I totally agree with your comments about how terrible it must be to be forced by someone to come out however, there is more to the Philip Schofield story than that which has been made public so far. If the full truth comes out I think public opinion will turn against him.

Isn't it strange that there have been no past boyfriends/lovers/one night stands who have given interviews to the media? That would be a very easy 5 figure pay packet for someone. This makes me think that it is probable that he has a super-injunction out to prevent the media from reporting more facts of the story and it wouldn't surprise me if either he or ITV have paid hush money to prevent certain individuals from speaking the full truth about him.
