Here's another idea for a poll that we're not going to do:
Do you prefer the Sunrise or the Sunset?

They are both Indian curries. Vindaloo is a much more spicy curry than a korma.

The sunrise is merciful, comforting, supportive - it embraces life.
The sunset is both seductive and melancholic - the sheer essence of beauty.

Oh, I have chosen such a dramatic and difficult poll question.

Simple for me:

The sunrise is too early in the morning. I chose sunset.

In all seriousness, though--the combination of a glass of wine, the ocean and a sunset - those are a few of my favorite things.

I sort of glibly dismissed sunrise, because I really do love sunsets and I really do love to sleep through sunrises; but . . . thinking about it, I'm often driving to work at sunrise and we get some pretty stunning sunrises here in the desert. So now I'm not sure about my answer. I should have paused to be a bit more reflective about my answer, like you Willie.

But then, I can't enjoy a glass of wine with the sunrise like I can with the sunset. Well, I guess I could if I had a drinking problem . . .
