Vughead kissed!!!!

Wow! Veronica and Jughead seemed more annoyed at Barchie kissing than they let on,
Chic is creepy as f**k, but glad that the core 4 shared scenes together.

Cheryl: What can I say, I love her, I love the way she came out to Toni, I guess Cheryl is bi since she liked Archie, but time will tell, I think the Black Hood killer will resurface and has something to do with Haram Lodge.

Also @Edie70 Betty looks gorgeous in that photo!! She's perfect girlfriend material <3

I loved the change of scenery in this week's episode. Makes me want to rent a lodge in the mountains next weekend.

I wonder where they're going with all this creepy Chic stuff. Of course, he's been mega-creepy all along. Some of them realized that just now?

Thumbs up for the promo department! Always a plus when they work in a shirtless Archie into episodic trailers.

Episode 15:

Bit of strange one, glad to see Polly return and also glad that she's suspicions about Chic also, A long lost Blossom! Yep I do like that this family are the perfect dysfunctional, crazy rich family that is written so well and their entertaining, the fact that the Coopers are related to them also makes this clan my favourite in any soap.......

The same however cannot be said about the Lodges.....they're so off its untrue, I just don't find them interesting enough for them to warrant all the focus they're getting, Hiram & Hermione need to be written out, Veronica however finally became interesting as of last weeks episode, with the Jeronica (Jughead/Veronica) kiss could it be them and not Betty/Archie that do the cheating?
Dramatically Jeronica would make more sense especially since Jughead is going after the Lodges with a vengeance, and Veronica could be torn between loyalty to her family, and her feelings for both Archie and Jughead.

Archie is crazy for throwing in with the Lodges, he is seriously crazy regardless of the reasons, I honestly think Hiram is somehow connected to the Black Hood Killer
Business.

Alice Cooper stole the show, the way she unashamedly barged into the Blossom will reading, and her putdown to Penelope was hilarious! :haha:

I have to say but is Riverdale a backlash against the millenials?

One thing I've noticed is that the kids in the show are far more proactive and aren't ones to simply sit around and do nothing, they distrust the establishment, (being one myself, millenials LOVE the establishment it seems)

The villians so far are Penelope Blossom a typical White Anglo Saxon Protestant and the Lodges: Who are Latino, in todays climate its not very PC ;-) its showing that there is good and bad in all walks of life.

There's been virtually no mention of social justice warriors, no identity politics, yet it has a healthy balance of everyone of all walks of life without making a statement, Cheryl coming out as bi wasn't just some Marissa Cooper stunt, it was heartfelt and frankly the best coming out scene I've seen in years.

They're all about preserving some history about the town and traditions without it being overtly conservative.

Is Riverdale anti Millennial? And could it be why its hugely popular? Perhaps Gen Z are now gearing up to take over :-D

Sorry for being political its just something I've noticed.

Yikes!

What another roller coaster!

- Josie and Ethel betraying Veronica

- Chic and Betty's war

- Betty falling out with Veronica

- Archie betraying Jughead

- And poor Cheryl!!

This show just keeps on keeping on the pulse! For me the stand out characters are still Betty & Cheryl however Archie has slowly been coming into his own, despite the fact he's getting in deeper with the Lodge family I wonder if its a ruse though?
I wouldn't be surprised that Archie & Jughead planned this so Archie could secretly spy on Hiram, by publicly discrediting Jughead it'll be much easier to do this, though who knows.

Veronica I'm glad that she got her comeuppance after the way she humiliated Betty about Dark Betty, she deserved it, really not a fan of her or her family.

There's nothing threatening about the Lodges unlike the Blossoms, Penelope is shaping up to being the shows evil bitch and she's wonderful at it!

Glad Molly Ringwold is back! She's a really good actress and she plays off well with Luke Perry, I loved how she told Archie off over disrespecting Fred.

I just started Riverdale today. I haven't even finished the first episode yet, and no I haven't went through this thread and read any possible spoilers.

The Riverdale season 3 premiere reminded me how much I enjoy watching a shirtless KJ Apa on a weekly basis.

I really enjoyed the last ten minutes of episode one. I'm very intrigued by the direction they seem to be going in this season. It seems like it is going to dovetail with Netflix's Sabrina.

I cannot stand fighting/boxing storylines. One of my least favorite types of stories ever. I hope it's over quickly.

Are you all waiting to binge-watch the show when S3 has finished?

I'm watching it, just caught to the third episode! Been bust with uni work :D

So yeah so far its kinda obvious that Reggie/Veronica will happen at some point, having him work for Veronica will lead somewhere.

Jughead and Betty seem as strong as ever, this season is far more creepy than the last season.

I watched Sabrina the other night and.......it was meh......i wanted so much to enjoy it but it seemed preachy on the while sjw fight the white patriarchy thing, RIVERDALE by and large leaves politics out however the big bad in that show is a Hispanic gangster and his henchmen is mixed race, straying away from the narrative somewhat SABRINA looks like it'll be dosed up to the eyeball with preachy-ness, however I think Kiernan Shipka is marvellous
