Blake and Cristal finally tie the knot in a lavish ceremony at Carrington Manor. The guests are enjoying refreshments on the lawn when one of the guests lets out a blood-curdling scream. Other guests rush over to investigate as the horrified woman points at the lake. In the distance we see Mac's corpse.

It's hard to sell a massacre as "entertaining" these days, I'd love to see a disaster cliffhanger e.g. the collapse of the Atlantix stadium. This could happen at the same time that Silvio points a gun in Blake's back - Silvio dies and Blake is saved by the disaster. But how about the other Carringtons?

I think the key to a good mass shooting (I can't believe I just said that) is the audience having deep emotional investments in the potential victims, and having the feeling that the stakes are high. The tone of the writing makes it harder for me to take even the most deadly situations too seriously, since there is often a jokey-tone to the scenes (think: Claudia) that are life-and-death. We'd be left not in shock, but in a sort of irritation.

That said, I think it's more likely this won't be Moldavia 2.0 simply because it's too soon for that. I think they will likely use this whole issue with Silvio as a way to put off Blake and Cristal getting married for a while, which I welcome since we really haven't seen them behave as if this is The Greatest Love Story Ever Told (though it might qualify as The Fastest Love Story Ever Told). I'm not feeling them as a "Tentpole Couple" the way they ought to be, at least not yet.

This show should end this season with someone in the shower...Then next season, it´s all been a dream of Emma Samms´ Fallon, and the show is retooled as a proper continuation with the same cast. It might have even less audience numbers but OR Dynasty fans would be in heaven...unless the producer is, you know, the unnamed (initials: C.C.).

There was nothing tongue in cheek about the season 1 cliffhanger drama.
And that's so strange about this show, they can do the most stupid things and then turn everything upside down just like that

I'm thinking for weeks now that the cliffhanger will be a massacre during Blake and Cristal's wedding caused by the South Americans (Cristal's family) - instead of the Moldavians.

It looks like STAR is doing a wedding massacre. How rude!
