Excellent episode this week, I've suddenly got a hint that Dwight could be a good guy. It felt like we were seeing how Dwight was broken through Daryl's journey and Dwight appeared to actually have some compassion for Daryl.
I couldn't work out what the workers were doing with the zombies on spikes, why were they taking those helmets off their heads?

Yes I agree, I just wasn't sure I understood what it was all about.
Am I correct in thinking they use the helmets to put the walkers in position and then remove them once they are spiked?
I enjoyed this episode but felt so sorry for Daryl...you could just see the pain he was in when Dwight brought up the fact that he got Daryl killed and that song they played after that is when Daryl started to cry and throw up.
Daryl is tough as nails though when it comes to what he stands for.
I do think too that Dwight is somehow going to be the one to help Daryl. You could see pain and wondering in Dwight too.
I wish that Daryl would just say he is Negan and get himself in a better place to figure out how to escape. But then what will he do? If he goes back to the group Negan will find him.
I agree that the buckets where put on the heads to the walkers wouldn't bite. I did find it awful how Negan puts the ones that are unfaithful to him on the fence.
I think we should all say rest in peace to Daryl's motorcycle ....

Did you understand what the purpose of those walkers is? I don't know if I missed something, but (I think) they mentioned they were working for Negan
From what I gathered they were the people in Negan's group that had in some way disobeyed him so he put them on display for all to see what would happen to a member of the group that didn't stick to his rules.
I noticed this when the guy that was running away and that Dwight shot ended up on the fence as a walker.

I must have misheard something about the walkers working for Negan, I'm now on your wavelength and it was probably more about those who refuse to work for Negan will end up on the spikes.

It was a great episode but so sad. I felt sorry for Daryl they fed him dog food. They made him stay in the cell naked. The song "Easy Street" was driving me crazy.
One way I was hoping Daryl said he was Negan so he wouldn't be treated so badly but I'm glad he didn't.
I'm glad they showed Dwights background it made me feel sorry for him. I hope Dwight and Daryl work together to get away from Negan.
It is wild you can see most of Negan's men are not really happy. It is wild how one man can control so many people. If they turned on him they would win but they follow him.
I find it creepy how attached Negan is to Daryl. I think anyone else would be dead for not obeying him. He seems to like Daryl which is more scary.

It's all about control with Negan. He controls everything and everyone, so he sees Daryl as a challenge. Plus Negan is probably in the need for a tough opponent and that's partly keeping him entertained.
