it's funny how that works out at times isn't it? there's a site i belong to where one of it's members died from cancer in 2019 though i never got the honor of meeting her and we weren't close but we did talk every now and than it did really affect me when she passed away. not all online friends i have really affect me like that but that doesn't mean i don't feel anything if any of them pass away. but some of them no doubt effect you more than you realize once they are gone i think even if it's just an online friend ya know?

A friend is a friend even if you have never met in real life. It's funny but I think in some ways we know the friends we have never met better than some people who we actually do meet in real life but are only acquainted with. Because when you exchange letters, e-mails or private messages with a friend you get to know what's on their mind. Sometimes you don't even know what they look like but you know their soul.

well said there are certain people i will open up to and in the past i can think of a couple that were online friends and most of my friends in real life i would never do it and it's not because i'm worried on what they'd say either, it's just that sometimes you can connect with an online friend and express your feelings better in typing rather than talking. though though if you are dating/married someone you should be working on communication with them 1st Obviously but friends wise i mean

YES! I feel like Tommie and I knew each other extremely well, we talked everyday, it’s so weird now that I don’t have his texts. We were also each other Valentines every year. He use to joke about our “relationship”
Sorry I’m rambling on, I just like what you said, it’s true, we knew each other’s souls

ramble all ya want if it makes ya feel better ramble away i ramble at times way too much myself lol. have you ever wondered why you are friends with anyone? an example is there's a friend i've known for 30 years and i've known him since freaking middle school, anyways years ago he lived with his grandmother and his mom and his cousin and his wife and her kids.. you can kinda figure out why he moved out lol that would drive anyone to drink lol. anyways his cousin asked him why he's friends with him and he said all serious i don't know and by that he meant that me and him are so opposite from each other that it's not even funny yet we are friends and like brothers we both don't get it either. it's just one of those things that happens i guess ya know?

I have an autographed copy !!!
I have yet to read the book that he has published but he told me he named a character after me

I never realized how young he was. He must have been only in his early 20s when I joined the board. I always enjoyed his well-written, excellent posts and he seemed like a wonderful guy. So sad to hear about his passing and at such a young age. Rest in peace.
