I lurked at Telly Talk for years but finally joined during the height of the Covid pandemic. I was locked down tight for 8 months and started writing Dallas fanfiction as a way to cope.

I watched Dallas with my parents as a kid, but really became a fan in the 2000s when someone gifted me the series on DVD. Aside from Dallas, my favorite type of TV show tends to be police and/or political dramas.

I'm in my 50s. I have a huge extended family (6 kids, 5 grandkids and counting, plus some exes that still eat at mine and my husband's table).

I write political commentary for a living (local and state focus). I'm currently working on my PhD in Education policy and management. Rabid NFL and NCAA football fan. Guess that's enough about me.

I just discovered that topic. I'm new here and new into forum. So hello all
I'm from France so excuse my english is not very good.
I'm 54, i'm a great fan of Dallas since it began here in France in 1981. I was 10 and remembered watching it with my mom and dad.
I latey discovered Dynasty, Falcon Crest and then Knots Landing (which is call "Côte Ouest" in french)
I'm also a great fan of Star Trek for a very long time, and my favorite mivie of all time is The Lord of the rings trilogy.
Oh, and i've always been fascinated by the US and had the chance to go there for a month on my own last year...
Here is my webpage about Dallas, Knots, Falcon Crest and the Dynasty-verse :
Thank you for having read me
Claude
