I actually expected them to have it premiere in the fall and am really glad it's coming back earlier. I guess since it's the biggest show in the world, it doesn't really matter when it premieres. People will watch it anyway.

It was first said it would return in June sometime. But they postponed it to July.

I'm glad they didn't wait longer!!! They could pretty much air it in the middle of the night, and people would still watch.

Yes, they don't know yet if they'll make it until 2019. They don't want to rush it - they want it to be epic.

Just hope that pays off. With that kind of gap and then just 6 episodes, they spiral the expectations of course right into space.
So those better be the best episodes of any TV show ever aired on any network before, because anything less would be "meh". Good luck, B&W, you have been fair warned!

Maybe episode 4 finishes off with Dorne for good. Then 50 minutes is more than enough, hell, i'd be even okay with 10 mins runtime in that case.

I don't even need a finish for Dorne. Just write them off off-screen. Or just have one of the dragons have PMS and burn down the whole place.

I'd actually enjoy Drogon burning down Dorne for a whole 50 mins episode, that could be quite satisfying!
