Oh that's a shame, though it's only slightly different.

From the comics, there are various men who have all taken on the name of The Flash, including Bart and Barry Allen. Bart Allen, in the comics, started off as Impulse and went on to become Kid Flash. I think Bart is the grandson of Barry--which, now that I think of it, really messes with the timeline between Smallville and The Flash.

Carrie Fisher turned up at The Daily Planet.

I have absolutely no memory of her being on the show.

Reckoning - What a thrilling emotional ride this episode is.

First, I find myself on edge as Clark is bout to tell Lana who he really is, then I'm caught in the moment when he lifts her to the skies as he explains his story.

I've struggled a few times with their relationship, but only because I grew up thinking Lois was Clark's true love and it certainly doesn't look that was on Smallville. Lex then figures out Lana knows Clark's secret and they argue where Lana leaves upset by Lex's actions. She's on route 40 when Lex appears behind her and this leads to her crashing into a school bus. Clark gets there but is too late Lana has died.

I have to live with this tragic tale of Clark finally revealing who he is and then losing the one he loves - Jor-El did say someone close to him would die.

As eh story continues I quickly come to terms with Lana's death because I see this as an opening for Clark and Lois - only Clark doesn't see it the way I do and makes another deal with Jor-El to save Lana.

Saving Lana meant that time went back to the point before he revealed who he is and we're back to how things were. I'm pretty gutted now because it feels like a waste of all my emotions, but woah!!!! Hold on, it's not over.

There is a death and this time its Jonathan Kent, I'm back to feeling shocked and upset.

The following episode really highlighted how much of a loss Jonathan is to Clark, Martha and myself. I'm really moved by how all this played out.

This show is like watching The X Files, you keep thinking the secret is going to be revealed and something comes along that changes this. Just like when you think they have the truth in The X Files you're thrown another spanner...

The last few episodes have dragged on a little, one was about a girl hypnotising Clark into loving her and breaking up with Lana, another was Lana turning to drugs so she could see her dead parents and now this one I'm on is about a girl Maddie and her father who can shatter glass.

I think all the DC shows would benefit from being at least 5-7 episodes shorter each season. The filler episodes can really drag things down.

Yes and I was thinking about the number of episodes that end their story with a few minutes to spare for Lana to visit Clark in his barn, I started to wonder how many minutes have been wasted on those scenes.

I'm not too overjoyed with the Senator/Martha story. I bought into the idea of Jonathan in politics, but feel its a stretch too far for Martha.

That said, this current episode 'Mercy' is pretty exiting where some guy in a mask is playing the game of life with Lionel, it's an obvious takes on the SAW movies.

Season 5 ending was fantatsic!

Zod has taken over Lex's body and the only way to defeat him is to kill Lex. I really don't want to see Lex killed off, so was glad that Clark threw the sword into Milton Fine, however that just raised the anti and released Zod while banishing Clark.

Martha & Lois looked to be dying with no oxygen on the jet they were on and the riots happening in all the major cities was thrilling.

The season six opener keeps the main titles from season five, minus Jonathan Kent. Martha is now in Clark's ice fortress where Joe-El is telling her she had to kill Lex. I'm expecting some kind of twist where they can free Lex and save Clark, but what I have no idea...?

Oliver Queen is here and so far this season it seems to be all about him and his back story, putting Kal El and Krypton on a back-burner. I had to go back and check a scene twice when one of Oliver's friends said he was going back to Gotham, only he never made it. I'm now wondering if Gotham has ever been mentioned before and I missed it.

I like Oliver's story so far and though shooting arrows isn't that exciting, I like the gadgets he has.

Lana is starting to become one-note since she's been with Lex, while Lois is getting more like the Lois I remember from the first movies.

A while back I commented on how young Clark Kent reminded me of a young Scott McCall (TEEN WOLF) and this kid turned up needing help from Clark

But sometimes shooting arrows is very exciting . . . and so is running really fast.

Yes, I remember being over Lana by this point. The back and forth with Clark just gets tired. I think it started when Lois arrived. I do remember being slightly irritated that they were working Lois into Clark's history, since in my mind they were supposed to meet after he comes to Metropolis to work for the Daily Planet. But oh well--I'll take Lois Lane whenever I can get her.

I love perry white

Played by Annette O'Toole's real life husband, Michael McKean.

Oh wow! I didn't remember him being in it.

Speaking of Teen Wolf--did you noticed who was playing young Clark in Man of Steel?

I can't believe how excited I am to start watching ARROW & FLASH. I have so much to look forward to and this teaser trailer is enhanced with the sound of 20 Seconds to Mars....

Yeah, there are parts in Smallville that I have to just accept. I tell myself that doing it this way means we get to see Lois even if it doesn't fit into the time-line.

Gosh, it's so tightly knitted together.

Oh wow! I didn't remember him being in it.
That the thing with watching older series, you see a lot of guest stars that later become famous for other roles. I've seen actors from THE SHIELD, SONS and okay, I've forgotten who else has turned up.

Now then, here's a funny story.

While watching MAN OF STEEL and the scene where a young Clark saves the school bus, I said to Wifey & Teen Ome that one of the kids was Pete Ross, Teen Ome quickly said OMG that's Dylan Sprayberry.

I immediately thought she was talking about Pete and my first thought was he's lost a lot of weight since doing this movie. I then had to google Pete Ross actor and looked at him, again thinking he lost weight, only for Teen Ome to get confused wondering why I was looking up this guy

It never clicked with me until I finished the movie and then looked on Wiki at the casting.

If 'Justice' wasn't enough, I'm blessed with another mind-blowing episode in 'Labyrinth'

Clark wakes up in a psychiatric hospital to learn that he's been there five years and he has no powers, in fact everything about his life has all been in his head. There's magazines called FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE & THE PHANTOM ZONE.

Even the products in his room all have different meanings, his father Jor-El is actually an antibacterial soap.

I'm so loving this!

Lex is in a wheelchair because he lost both legs the day of the accident on the bridge, in Lex's world he blames Clark and that's why Clark was admitted to the hospital
