My Top Ten (thanks for choosing this subject Karin!)

1- Sleeping Beauty
2- Peter Pan
3- Snow White
4- Bambi
5- Pinocchio
6- Beauty & the Beast
7- Cinderella
8- The Hunchback of Notre Dame
9- Mulan
10- The Jungle Book

All of them in their original, traditionally animated form. I have obliged myself to let the five Top places to the (real) "Disney Classics" because that´s what they do deserve, no matter what the brainless "Iwannabuythecopyrightsto everything" new honchos at Disney may think. Initially I´d have placed "Beauty" and "Hunchback" among the top 5, but I want to give the "oldies" a bit of more average weight, so to say.

I must also discard the movies starring you-know-who, because The Muppets are relatively new adquisition by Disney. Besides, they were not animated but manipulated...Hush don´t tell her! o_O:eek:

I'll hold off a bit with my list as I am to watch Frozen for the first time and wanna see if it will make my list or not...

Anyway in the meantime Christmas is coming and on Christmas Eve a lot of Swedish People watch this show every year:

I can understand that. I watched it and tried to keep my eyes open. I tend to get very sleepy when watching that show these days as it's so understimulating to watch something you know by heart!

Yeah, I think 10 times might be the limit. Or even less. Then one must really love something deeply to be invested in continuing watching time and time again.
This time I wasn't even interested in watching the first part with Santa's Workshop.

I guess I keep watching mostly for the tradition of it. I have watched it every year since I was a small child. Somehow I tend to fall asleep somewhere around the Ferdinand sequence. :lol:

The Little Mermaid (1989)
This is the story of Ariel a sixteen year old Mermaid princess who rebels against her father and goes on an adventure with her best friends Flounder and Sebastian to discover more about the human world. She falls in love with Prince Eric after she saves his life and makes a pact with a sea witch Ursula who makes her human for three days in exchange for her voice. If Ariel can get Eric to kiss her she will remain human but if Ursula wins she will own Ariel. This American Animated Musical Fantasy film was based on the story "Den lilla Havsfrun" by Danish author H.C. Andersen. It became a huge success and marked the start of what is considered Disney Renaissance.
