I was reminded of this due to the news of Denise Richards being casted in B&B; she did a soap called Sex, Love & Secrets for UPN in the fall of 2005 and apparently not being satisfied with that utter bomb, UPN decided to put South Beach on air, another attempt at a sudsy prime time drama on air that also bombed out after eight episodes.
Which of course was lucky for Vanessa L. Williams since otherwise she'd be stuck on that mess and not go to Ugly Betty and later Desperate Housewives...
