Yes I did, and I found it quite an emotional episode. He certainly played the part well.I found it kind of charming..
However since watching TNG I've found myself thinking back with fond memories of how DS9 was about the characters and their own cultures. I had lots of fun with the Ferengi and Cardassians as well as the Dominion. I'm missing that now on TNG and it's making me very thirsty to go into DS9.
I'm watching DS9 S4 at the moment, it's taken me about two years to get to this point, but I do really enjoy it.
I didn't enjoy certain aspects about this show, but I do remember loving most of the characters.
Ferengi
I have to admit to skipping any episodes to which they are central to. I'm a bit racist when it comes to them.

It looks like he searched longer and further for Pam than Bobby ever could have.I found him

How can someone possibly skip sweet Moogie and the Grand Nagus
How can someone possibly skip sweet Moogie and the Grand Nagus?![]()
It took me a while to figure this one out. There was something about her eyes and her voice, then it clicked....

I agree, watching on Netflix you can see how long is left of each episode and it's a bit formulaic that the show is all neatly wrapped up in the last 4 or 5 minutes. More 2 part episodes would have made the whole thing feel much more epic anyways but also broken up the story of the week formula a little. I think I have 7 more episodes of season 2 left to watch. I will do some more tonight. This series has so many brilliant episodes, better than what the some of the movies had to offer and yet I feel a little disappointed when so many stories are resolved in the dying minutes of each episode. I wish they had done more 'two-parters' over the course of the series.
