I´m going to try the most original, unusual brides in SoapLand...Let´s see if I get it!
1- PamBecca marries John Ross at SF, TNT Dallas (S. 3). Maybe because they cheated us the wedding itself, maybe because it was the first (and only) wedding that happened twice in this revamping, I chose the beautiful bride that made ultra-gorgeous Julie Gonzalo. Sure mum-in-law Pammy (who is in SoapHeaven) would have loved the gown...
I just couldn´t pick up any other pic. This meme
(or whatever you call it) is too good to be missed!
2- Sue Ellen marrying JR by first time, Dallas (just a photo!). It´s obviously a "Mad Men"-style wedding that speaks volumes of their future relationship given the context we were given of that Ewing era (Patricia scheming and child Kristin taking up notes, baby Lucy maybe crying out loudly in the wedding, JR happy he could handle the "Lee Ann Nelson" affaire, and so on...). It doesn't matter that her dress looks like made of Miss Ellie´s old curtains...(and I´m sure Sue Ellen eventually got drunk when he caught him with Marilee or someone else...)

Say "cheeeaaaaat"!
3- The Abster agrees to marry Yo! just for business, Knots Landing (S. 10). Somehow I think this should have worked out in the long term, if Ms. Mills just hadn´t left the show. For the occasion, and maybe just to piss that Matheson slut off, Abby chose the most fantabulous gown available in the catalog (maybe a Travilla leftover?). In this spectacular pic below, you can see the whole storyline in one frame, which is something only the best soaps could do. Look at Greggie´s face! Look at that pink panther gown Paige is wearing...And very especially, look at the Abster! The eyes had it, more than ever!!

By the way, they also stole this wedding´s vows from us!!
4- Emma (tries to) marry The Great Karlotti, Falcon Crest (S. 6). She never looked more beautiful than in this classic wedding gown. Too bad it wasn´t the right guy (this time either...). But she got closer and closer to become a married woman, and this was a step in the right direction. If just the 300 other wives of Karlotti had just skipped the ceremony, maybe they had stayed together until the end of the series...Poor, poor Emma. And all this in front of her adopted black child, who was all heart when he said: "I hope he dies" (re Karlotti). Utterly memorable.

"Oh mother..." Genius.
5- Alexis married Sean Rowan (Anders) in some postcard island, Dynasty (S. 8). Well, I couldn´t leave the most bombastic show out of this, so here is one of Alexis´s weddings that will probably get fewer votes: here is Ms. Collins in all her glamorous simplicity and candor, as if this were her first (*cough*) wedding. I wonder if she followed the tradition of "something new (Sean), something old (herself), something blue (his thong?) and something borrowed (I´d say his shirt belonged to a Mariachi...). Wonderfully tacky overall.

Red is for Passion.
