We are not worthy:
That’s pretty awful! We are not worthy:
That more than made up for the accordion version LOLHere's a more traditional take, performed - appropriately enough - by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. It starts at the 3:55 mark but that would mean skipping past a delightful piece by Gershwin.
I’m really not sure what to make of that one. It’s definitely something different. It’s unusual but I don’t hate it.if this doesn’t raise goosebumps, you simply have no soul!
(just kidding about the soul part, but hey, it’s fun, right?)
And a great reaction from the audience. Everybody loves soap - or, to quote Sue Ellen season 2 "we are aaaall Ewings".Here's a more traditional take
If...IF...there was ever another continuation of Dallas and the Ewing family holds the annual Ewing bar-b-que then this would sound great as John Ross Ewing IV sat on a merry-go-round carousel. We are not worthy
Love...love...love the drums.if this doesn’t raise goosebumps
All jokes aside but I'd guess whatever opening theme tune is being played from the 70's and 80's most people would be able to identify them, such is the power of a good opening credit. Producers today could learn a thing or two from the masters of TV Theme Music.
There’s no way I ever would’ve thought that was the Dallas theme if you didn’t tell methere’s this, but them jazz guys take so many liberties you can’t tell it’s the Dallas theme in its infancy:
And you'd be right - I'm just joking around (as usual). As a jazz musician, this is what I think of when I see 'The Theme'. It's from the 50s and Miles Davis (a distant cousin of Jim? nah..) would play it at the end of each set. No relation to Jerrold Immel's composition that we all know and love! There’s no way I ever would’ve thought that was the Dallas theme if you didn’t tell me
