How about a Dynasty quiz thread ?

I'll start with a question. The one who posts the correct answer first can come up with the next question!

So ... here we go, first question:

Which Character was the most featured and has the highest episode count in the 85/86 season (including "The Colbys"- spinoff)?

That's true!
He's been in 35 episodes that season. And in 2nd place with 34 episodes was our beloved Dominique Deveraux!

Your turn!

For some reason I'm thinking it's the first one in Alexis' studio in season 2 even though that doesn't seem likely.

Another try : Amanda and Sammy Jo in the pool ?

DING DING DING!!! You got it! Congratulations!:clap::clap:

Yes indeed, I saw a behind the scenes vid of that scene, and both Heather Locklear and Catherine Oxenberg did indeed manage to do the whole watery catfight in a single take. There were at least three cameras on them (two "official" cameras, and the behind the scenes one) in order to get different angles.

Once the director yelled "CUT! WE GOT IT!" the two actresses immediately started laughing and hugging each other, acting like they were the best of friends. x3

Anyway, this means you get the next turn, GillesDenver!

Sorry, I don't quite understand the question?
Yes, I was afraid it would be the case because it's not easy to explain. o_O

I will be more specific : in every season, episodes are shot in the logical order : episode 1, episode 2, episode 3, etc.
But there was a season that did not follow that pattern, just for once.
Episode 11 of that season was shot after episode 8 and before episodes 9 and 10.
Which season was it ?

A wild guess: the Carousel Ball?

Exactly ! It was filmed in October 1983 rather than in November in order to be able to shoot scenes during the real ball.
Therefore, Helmut Berger filmed his first scenes in this episode and not in "Peter de Vilbis" (an episode which was filmed AFTER "Carousel").

Oh wow! I didn't know that! Awesome! :D

I figured, since it was the only time they filmed on location with the cast. DALLAS, of course, had to shoot out of sequence, in bits and pieces, filming in Texas for 6 weeks every early summer, those scenes then edited into the first twelve episodes of each year.

Too much organization for DYNASTY, to say nothing of the expense. At least they didn't call three different episodes "The Carousel Ball."

Welp! You're next! What question do you have for the Dynasty Quiz? :)
