Oh... I thought it was from a newspaper

Ah, I couldn't work out what it was implying lol
Yea It's just about how a person from Belfast sees it when watching The Fall. It's pretty spot on. lol It's very specific to Belfast though.

Why would there be no Police Protection outside Paul's Hospital room? Why is he not handcuffed to the bed? Why would they allow a lady nurse to be alone with him all the time when he is not restrained?

Yes, it's really hard to understand that - - to the point of distraction, but then the show has got away with a lot of silliness in order to keep the Spector story going.

This week's episode was good. Paul was transferred to the Psychiatric Hospital to be evaluated. I love how this guy gets treated. It wasn't until he left the Hospital did they handcuff him, and had 2 Police escorts. He gets to the Psychiatric Hospital he is put in a room, but the door is left open at times.

I'm glad his wife and kids didn't die but now she will be charged with attempted murder.

I can see him escaping or they will say he can't be charged stating he is not fit to be accountable for his crimes.

There is only 3 episodes left.

I'm determined to see the show out now, but oh my the last few episodes have been a real struggle to get through.

And is it just me or does the Irish guy from HOLLYOAKS look different?

oh my the last few episodes have been a real struggle to get through.

I felt like this in episode 3, but this week really pulled me back into the story. Although a slow process, I'm really enjoying how the pieces are coming together with the investigation and I was fascinated by how the operations were in the psychiatric unit, I hope there's more focus on that.

I'm heart-broken by Sally-Ann's story

And is it just me or does the Irish guy from HOLLYOAKS look different?

That was weird - I didn't think he looked any different in appearance, but I couldn't help think how he looked more psych than Spector.

We don''t get this until Thur/Friday and I'm not sure whether to wait until Friday for both episodes or sit them out over the two days.

The penultimate episode airs here tonight, but the final episode will air at the same time as the BBC on Friday night.

That was probably the most unnecessary run of episodes I've ever seen of a tv show. It just reinforces my belief that the Spector plot was a one season story.

The season Finale was pretty good. Starting with a brutal interrogation room confrontation where an unrestrained Paul Spector attacks Stella and DS Anderson.

Paul comes back to the Psychiatric Hospital he is allowed to walk around like he didn't do anything wrong. He asks one of his cellmates to help him distract the guards. We than see him violently attack Dr. Larson. He than sneaks into the other inmates cell, and strangled him, than he wraps the belt around his neck after putting a plastic bag over his head, and hangs himself.

I don't know seeing 3 seasons of Paul just for him to kill himself didn't feel like it was justice. He died like his first victim maybe that is justice but I would rather see him live his life in jail.

Well, did you do it? :cool1

You will enjoy Mister Mac and fortunately for you and BF (if she chooses to buy) you get to see all episodes pretty close together, unlike the thee years some of us have had to wait to get this far.

Well i did buy it and im watching S1, have to confess I have never really seen Gillian Anderson in anything before (never an x files fan) and i find her voice in this rather irritating but its her immovable, fixed face that fascinates me. Her face doesnt move or show emotion, its so botoxed

The guy Jamie Dornan is good and i think John Lynch is great in almost anything he does. I will keep watching.

Saw the first two episodes. What a great twist that Spector woke up and doesn't remember the last ten years -- or does he? I can't forget that moment he opened his eyes for a second and stared at Kiera. Is the fucker faking it all??

Katie is loathsome. She can die.

Damn, I'm remind in each episode: Gillian Anderson knows how to suffer so well. The scene where she went through Spector's storage place was so climactic. Get that sexy mofo in jail, boo!

1. Why would there be no Police Protection outside Paul's Hospital room? Why is he not handcuffed to the bed? Why would they allow a lady nurse to be alone with him all the time when he is not restrained?

There was constant protection, either by men/women in uniform and that lady who is usually in plainclothes. They don't stand right outside the room, but they stand by the hallway and ICU entrance.

They established that the main concern was somebody else trying to do him harm than the other way around. For the most case, he is absolutely too weak to hurt anybody -- he can barely stand, let alone be a threat. Now, as he gets better....

That seems really odd and I was also puzzled why they would have his latest victim in a bed so close by

There is only one ICU. I don't think they had a choice!

The Fall is being investigated by Ofcom over screen violence.

The final episode of the BBC chiller saw killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) take his own life, hanging himself.

A spokesperson for Ofcom "We're investigating whether the depiction of suicide in this programme complied with our rules."

Though only two viewers contacted Ofcom about the sequence, it is duty-bound to investigate any complaint it receives.

The Walking Dead is also being investigated over violent scenes in its season premiere.

The Fall creator Allan Cubitt had previously hit back at criticisms over the show's graphic content, insisting that he was eager to "keep it as limited as possible".

"I don't expect to be applauded for the fact that there is [only] one woman killed in The Fall," he said. "But I do think it's of note compared with so many other shows I see, where the body count is astronomical.

"You can watch one episode of Luther and see more female victims than you see across the entire run of The Fall."

He'd also previously dismissed accusations of misogyny levelled at the series, which saw Dornan's character stalk women in Belfast.

"If you think that The Fall is misogynistic... then I would've failed abjectly, completely," Cubitt argued. "My feeling is that people who think about it probably haven't given it the closest reading.

"It might be a knee-jerk reaction to something that depicts violence against women. Nothing that I've ever done has been written with the sum notion of degrading or demeaning women."
