The hypocrisy of the Tories is truly nauseating. This man was telling us that we couldn't hug or even meet our family and friends and at the same time he was sticking his tongue down the throat of his fancy woman. As always with this bunch of lying, cheating Tory charlatans, it's one law for them and another for us plebs.

Johnson can't sack Hancock or ask him to resign because he has done worse himself. Johnson was having an affair with Carrie while his then wife Marina was undergoing cancer treatment. Therefore if Hancock goes, people will rightly ask why didn't Johnson resign over his marital infidelities.

I know and yet somehow they always seem win the majority over with their lies and even worse, false hopes.

I'm more annoyed with the people who aren't angry. This government is by far the most corrupt, dishonest and inept one that any of us have experienced in our lifetime. More people should be angry otherwise we normalise this bad behaviour in public office.

This kind of conduct is bad enough at any time, but for him to do this while asking the rest of us to socially distance is just too hypocritical for words.

Bad enough they're both screwing over their spouses and families, but they're also risking their families' lives into the bargain.

As well as the Hancock's marriage infidelity, he also gave his mistress a prestigious job on the board of the NHS which pays £15,000 for around 20 days work (which I reckon as an annual salary would be about £200,000 pro rata). So Hancock isn't just screwing his mistress, he's screwing us hard working tax payers to fund his bit on the side. In other countries he would be charged for committing a criminal offence, in this country we allow this kind of corruption because he is a Tory.

There still might be further consequences for him. According to the Sunday Times (in the Apple news link):

He should be investigated and put on trial for corruption over handing contracts PPE to his mates who had no experience in the field.

At least Hancock going means it's much less likely that the ghastly and useless Dido Harding will become the CEO of the NHS.

You are missing the point. These Tories are so arrogant they think they are above the law. Hancock thought he could do whatever he liked and their would be no consequences and that's why cameras didn't bother him when he was tonguing his bit on the side.
