Almost a year since it premiered and I think they dropped all the episodes at the same time. I don’t think they filmed anything before the great shutdown of 2020. I heard Ashoka will be in season 2 as well. I will post articles. My sister relays a lot of this to me via text so I must find articles.

I liked THE MANDALORIAN a lot and I'm looking forward to season two. The show was inconsequential compared to a lot of what passes for "prestige TV" these days, but thoroughly enjoyable; IMO, the best thing in the STAR WARS franchise since the first two movies. I liked that it was both familiar (deeply rooted in the SW universe) but also different (finally breaking away from the Skywalker saga).
There have been some gossipy rumblings about occurrences on the set, which have me a little worried about how season two will play out.

I'm eager to see season 2. I just hope it's a good as season 1 with new stories and new characters.

I've yet to watch Season 1...and that's just sad. I'm no Star Wars fanatic however Disney's involvement since purchasing the Star Wars universe and dare I say it, ruining the franchise, has put me off watching anything else Star Wars related. It's on my watch list but I'm in no hurry.

I'm almost finished with the second episode (Chapter 10) and I need to take a break to say how spectacular episode 9 was, I loved the backstory of the Marshall, very Star Warsy and the battle with the monster made this return as epic as it can be.
I'm enjoying the next episode, mildly laughing at The Child eating the eggs, then when he ate that thing from the cocoon and they all opened to some kind of scary spider I had to pause because I'm shuddering at the thought of them running around my feet as I watch more.

Ep 3 Chapter 11 was a belter! I jumped when they guy whacked the Child into the monster's mouth and gasped when Mando jumped in and they closed the gate, only to cheer when more of his kind jumped on board and freed them.
I've watched THE CLONE WARS, but can't recall if Bo-Katan was a character on there. I'd love to see Ahsoka appear in this.
Seeing Stormtroopers always excite me!
Throw in a few Imperial guards and I'm all set!

I've watched THE CLONE WARS, but can't recall if Bo-Katan was a character on there. I'd love to see Ahsoka appear in this.

Bo-Katan is one of my favorite additions to The Mandalorian this season. Yes, I believe in The Clone Wars is where she was first introduced. It's great to see her in live action by Katee Sackhoff, the actress who has voiced her in the previous series'. Her age fits right as Sackhoff is 40 and Bo-Katan would be in her 40's according to the timeline.Ep 3 Chapter 11 was a belter! Bo-Katan was a surprise and all I will say before you watch further is that things get even better as you go further in this season's episodes.

Chapter 12 and I do not know why, but I got excited when he lifted his helmet to drink. It’s like I need to see his face and yet, it’s irrelevant.
I love the Stormtroopers, they’re my favourite part of the whole story and yet when you think about it, they are pretty useless. Very rarely do they ever hit their targets, not that we want them to, but even so.
Chapter 13 and I can’t control myself, Ahsoka and light sabres and now we know the child is named Grogu.
I remember Morgan Elsbeth from THE CLONE WARS, but it’s kinda hazy because I thought she was one of the good guys protecting her kind.
I felt a little sad at the end of this episode, whether that’s because I’m thinking this is the last we will see of Ahsoka, or the comment she made saying there aren’t many Jedi lift.
I did not recognise her, and I loved her in a few other shows, I'm going to blame the dark auburn hair look.
I also read there will be a spinoff dedicated to Ahsoka.
This show just gets better.

Chapter 14 is another belting episode with the stormtroopers and then Boba Fett turning up.
The Dark Troopers are awesome, but not in a good way if you're fighting them. Grogu playing around with the stormtroopers was ace, but alas it tired him out. I’m assuming it’s a him, I don't think its ever been mentioned, maybe they are all one sex.
Those pirates were bloody annoying in chapter 15, though it was worth the battle to see the Stormtroopers salute Mando, only they don’t know it’s Mando.
OMG, I wasn’t expecting to see Mando’s face.
I’m glad Mayfield shot that Hess dude, but that was pushing it doing while all those troopers were around.
Fantastic ending and a great build-up for the season finale with Mayfield free and Mando threatening Moff.

Chapter 16 did not disappoint; it had so much going on. The dark troopers would have scared me as a kid, I’m glad they were kicked into space, I couldn’t figure how they were going to defeat them. The twist with the darksaber was brilliant, now, Bo-Katan must battle with Mando to become the owner of the darksaber.

I had all kinds of images in my head to who the jedi could be, but I ended up thinking it might be Obi-Wan never did I think it would be Luke. Then R2-D2 and the final part where Mando revealed his face to Grogu and shedding a tear was touching.
As much as I know Grogu should be with a jedi, I would loved to have seen him continue his journey with Mando, I liked the connection they both had.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this season @Ome. For me it was some of the best Star Wars since 1983.
Seeing Luke in action as a full Jedi master was great to see. It was nice he got his hallway scene as Vader did in Rogue One.
With Grogu being trained I wonder if we will see him again by the end of season 3? I'm also curious how the relationship between Mando and Bo-Katan develops as she wants that Dark Saber and all that comes with it. I'm sure we'll see more of Moff Gideon too.

I was going to ask you if there was a third season. I wasn't sure if this story was finished with Mando fulfilling his assignment of safely escorting the Child to the Jedi.
Of course, there is some unfinished business, so bring it on. I also love the idea how it will follow up on Bo-Katan's Darksaber.
