1 - Angela Channing vs Jacqueline Perrault: a rivalry both onscreen and off. The battle between Angela and Jacqueline may not have lasted as long as others (thanks to Jane's power and Julia's gun) but their battle did burn brightly and their face offs made for great TV with an extra layer of juiciness added as you knew they didn't get along in real life.

2 - JR Ewing vs Cliff Barnes: the eternal rivalry that spanned five decades of the original series, reunion movies and the revival. Even from the grave, JR still had the last laugh.

3 - Alexis Colby vs Sable Colby: Dynasty was awash with rivalries but this one had the most zest for me. Possibly because it was only onscreen for such a short stint and possibly because rivalries involving family members can get so vicious. Alexis vs Krystle is the one that everyone remembers but in reality, it was rather one sided. Alexis would cause trouble for Krystle and then once a season, Krystle would retaliate by kicking the sh*t out of her or smacking her one. As time wore on, it kind of fizzled out to them throwing poorly written insults at each other. Alexis vs Dominique suffered a similar fate and there was never any substantial grounding for that feud (they just didn't like each other). Alexis vs Sable, on the other hand, was like a tennis match. You buy my tankers, I'll blow them up. You shag my ex husband, I'll tell your daughter that her father isn't her father. You buy my hotel and so on. There was a genuine hatred of each other there and they went all out when trying to outfox each other.

4 - Abby Cunningham vs Karen Fairgate: like Dynasty, there are a lot of rivalries to choose from on Knots. The only difference is, the rivalries on Knots were all great. Abby vs Karen had that family element that always adds a great dynamic to feuds. They worked alongside each other as well as against each other. They fought over friends. They fought over children. Karen was even a thorn in Abby's side without knowing it. Yet their love for Sid is what bound them together and even at Abby's most treacherous, Karen maintained a certain level of decorum for the sake of the kids.

5 - Abby Cunningham vs Laura Avery: another Knots classic feud. Laura had Abby's card marked and never entertained any of her sh*t. Their barbs toward each other over the years were a joy and even in death, Laura got the last jag in.
