1. Alexis uses Blakes Amnesia into making him believe they are still married. (Dynasty)
2. Sue Ellen uses Valentine's lingerie to get rid of JR's latest mistress (Dallas)
3. Abby gets rid of Peter's body by burying him underneath the Lotus Point Playground (Knots Landing)
4. Melissa tricks Lance into marrying her but she is pregnant with Cole's baby (Falcon Crest)
5. Sammy Jo hires Rita to impersonate Krystle (Dynasty)

1. JR makes Pam believe Mark Graison is alive through a wild goose chase, organised by Gerald Kane, in Dallas.
2. Angela fools everyone for a while into thinking Jason (drunk) drove his truck off a cliff, in Falcon Crest.
3. The cartel are set up by JR through his Asian deal, in Dallas.
4. During Blake's amnesia he is told by his ex wife Alexis that they are still married, in Dynasty.
5. Doug and Jacqueline's nasty trick on Angela, revealed 45 years later in spring 1987, at Falcon Crest.

5. DYNASTY - Alexis cleverly buys the mortgage to the Carrington mansion and interferes with Blake's plans to borrow from someone or other. Thus she assumes ownership of the mansion and all of Blake's holdings. Always will be one of my favourite soap moments. And it'd my favourite bit of Alexis trickery.

4. DYNASTY - Sammy Jo plays Alexis at her own game and double crosses her. Tricking her into sending her on an expensive sabbatical.

3. DALLAS - Katherine concocts a letter that keeps Bobby and Pam apart and divorced so that Katherine can put the moves on Bobby. What a fabulous bitch!

2. DYNASTY - Alexis tricks Caress by buying the publishing company that was to publish her tell all book on Alexis. Thus ensuring the manuscript never sees the light of day.

1. KNOTS LANDING - Cement the relationship. Not only is this a magnificent piece of trickery on Abby's part but it will always be the moment when I actually fell in love with Abby the character. Perhaps the first thing she didn't ultimately do for herself. She put herself on the line to protect her child. Also this whole storyline was deliciously written it's almost Hitchcockian.

1. Uncle Jason Dies Twice (Falcon Crest) - 16 points

Angela tricks everyone into believing Jason died in a car accident to cover up Emma's involvement in his death and to protect her own stake in the Falcon Crest

2. Finding Dead Mark (Dallas) - 11 points

JR tricking Pam to find Mark through Gerald Kane in Dallas

3. The Amnesiac Affair (Dynasty) - 10 points

During Blake's amnesia he is told by his ex wife Alexis that they are still married

4. Covering Up The Whodunnit (Knots Landing) - 8 points

Abby gets rid of Peter's body by burying him underneath the Lotus Point Playground

4. JR's Asian Oil Deal (Dallas) - 8 points

The most infamous oil baron of them all knew in advance about the Asian Oil wells being nationalised, before he sold the leases to the cartel and the Ewing banker

5. Rendez-vous In Rome (Dynasty) - 6 points

After luring him to a villa in Rome she sees to it that the paparazzi get hold of some seemingly incriminating photos of her and Blake together
