I still enjoy the podcast but it’s at times difficult to extract anything interesting in relation to the show. It seems neither Donna nor Michele remember the details of the show or storylines particularly well (and why should they after all this time) but it would be better if they were better prepared. I also get it that they don’t want to talk about the show in much detail all the time; at least that’s the impression I get from Michele, who often interrupts when people get into more detail and redirects the conversation to a non-Knots subject. Again, I’m not complaining - after all they don’t owe anything to the fans - but a bit of improved structure would be nice.

It’s interesting that they have now confirmed that neither Constance McCashin nor Bill Devane will come on and that Nicolette Sheridan doesn’t answer their emails…

I crack´d up when I heard that. I´m sure that Nicollette will wait until she needs some kind of publicity, who knows if she´s doing anything right now. Then she will mention her mother as an excuse for not coming before. That´s so Anne Matheson...I love it when actors become predictable. Anyway, I just love her... Her appearance here would be...juicy juicy...

I agree: someone ought to suggest they review episodes before the Pod that they plan to reference.

Nicollette is filming a new movie with Emma Roberts in Atlanta according to IMDb. It is just a supporting part (probably playing a mother to one of the leading characters). Maybe she was busy with that. Who knows? She seemed to admire and respect Donna very much. And she was moving into a new (much smaller house) with her new dog and other animals. She is also attending "Desperate Housewives" convention in Paris at the end of May with her former co-stars.

I looked it up. So far, the only one of the four leads who has agreed to appear is Marcia Cross. They have Nicolette and many of the supporting males though. But if the other three turn up..... yikes, we might be witnesses to a new French revolution.

Sadly, the podcast seems to have been paused for now. I hope Joan van Ark is doing ok!

In the meantime, the NY Times ran an article on soap operas today, which referenced Knots Landing a few times and quoted our very own Donna Mills, accompanied by a season 2 photo of her and Jane Elliot (as Judy Trent):

I enjoyed this one, not too much about Knots, but there are some nice stories about Larry H, and a few anecdotes I hadn't actually heard before, which makes a change!

But some lovely tributes here from Ted! (great to see him make a brief appearance), Charlene and Teri Austin... with an ominous pink glove.

This week's show with Michael Sabatino was very interesting but I was astounded that he kept saying that Chip's real name was GARY Fenice. I know they can't remember every detail, but his own character's name? I think he must have been thinking of Gary Sinise.

I had not heard any updates about him and his condition in a while and feared the worst; I'm glad he feels well enough to do interviews and visit with former cast-mates.
