And don't all pile in saying threads and posts from over 19 years ago, I can't do that.

It really isn't looking good, but please know some people are still doing what they can to retrieve the lost data.


In the meantime, if you list here the functions you missed, I will work on returning them. Also if you have any problems with the new forums let the team know and we'll do our best to get them back.

Thanks again for everyone's patience and it's great to see so many members returning and getting stuck into the forums.

Eleven years...6,000+ posts...and I've gone from Soap Chat Legend to Soap Chat Newbie. o_O It's like telling Celine Dion her next gig is in a karaoke bar. :think:

I miss the 24 hours to edit...especially now with creating new threads...I find that by the time I am done posting in a new thread I can't change the title if I didn't do it right the first time...also I can't go back and correct my grammer..no matter how long I proof read I don't see it until later after I had posted.

The different ratings but I am sure they are still in progress.

Also I would love to see the Spotlight forum and the Modern living and lifestyle forums back.

I do love that I am not seeing the sub forums....like the Play Games....more people are posting in there now.

I miss a lot of threads in the Dynasty/Colby section, especially the review-threads from James and your ones, @Ome.
And of course your Falcon Crest rewatch-thread.
But there is one forum with which i'm glad that everything was wiped out, and that's the TNT-Dallas one, as it contained the most BS threads imo. :D

Oh, and i miss SnarkyMarky (made of awesome) and hope he returns as well. :(
And Gabriel Maxwell, but i believe he's just on holidays at the moment.

I miss my The Colbys review, it was a lot of fun and had some great discussions. The Colbys and the Falcon Crest forums will be the most difficult to rebuild since they never had that much discussion in the first place.
It's also difficult to pretend that we haven't already discussed certain topics, so we need to find a different angle.
Having said that, I remember that some of the most interesting discussions came from very lame topics so I guess it's just a matter of "saying something" and then see what happens.

It would be nice if we could retrieve how long we've been a member instead of being listed as a new member. I first joined in 2002.
Hopefully that will come later. I realize more pressing problems need to be resolved.

i don't remember what my status was called but it was marked for me being here 10 years last year. as for my post count i think i was near 4,000 posts or something like that oh well i guess
